Miguel walked over to Jay. "We only have some time and its limited. Follow me." Jay spoke half giggling. "But i thought you said you tried going before?" Miguel shook his head. "Yes i have but maybe something new happened?" Jay said simply. "okay." They ran to the asylum. Brodie was at the cafeteria at this time and Miguel knew that. They arrived at Brodies room and lifted up his bed to reveal a trapdoor. "Jay, do you trust me?" Jay nodded his head. "With my life." "Good." Miguel opened the door and pushed Jay into the trapdoor seemingly bottomless. Then he followed. "Here we are. The Aether. "Ow. That hurt maybe a warning next time?" Miguel laughed. "Nah.. Whats this?" Miguel walked up to a mega computer-like machine. "I WAS RIGHT! THERE IS SOMETHING NEW!" Jay could barely get a word in edgewise. "What happened?" Miguel seemed puzzled. "Its a new loop. Here take a look."
"Ahhh!" He got up from his bed. "Sis you ready for school today?" "Yeah im excited i get to see my boyfriend!" He sighed. "Always on and on about your boyfriend. Im just as cool if not cooler then him." His sister laughed. The siblings got in the car. The boy smiled at his younger sister. Have fun at school Briana, I'll pick you up afterwards ok?" Briana nodded her head in agreement. "Hey Brodie. Can we get ice cream after school?" Brodie looked in his wallet. "I have some spare change so I guess we can get ice cream. But it will be all three of us. I want to meet your special Miguel." Briana spoke excitedly. "Yay! You two will love eachother i promise! Thank big bro." Brodie smiled. "Anytime sis, love ya." Briana began walking away. "I love you too." Brodie drove to school. "Yoo Zoie whats up." "Oh hey Brodie whats up." "Nothin much." Brodie went through his school day per usual. Because he was a senior he and Briana was a junior he figuered Miguel was also a junior. However, he went to gather information about this mystery man Miguel so he asked around the school. Turned out Miguel was a senior. Well can't say i expected that. All of a sudden all around Brodie he heard drums. Someone had been banging the drums with all their might apparently they sounded like gunshots. Gunshots. "Oh crap! Gunshots! BRIANA! BRIANA WHERE ARE YOU!" He ran into a courtyard to see a body lying on the ground a young man in a hoodie kneeling near the body. The man was crying. The young man spoke. "CALL 911 THIS WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!" When Brodie got closer he realized that the body was Briana. Without thought Brodie punched the man in the face demanding to know what happened. The hooded highschooler was sobbing through each word. "This... This is my girlfriend my name is-" Brodie snapped your name is Miguel. Your lucky i dont have my gun because god only knows i would blow your brains out right now if i could now tell me what happened. "I was trying to shoot Timothy Chadway... Then Briana, came running to me and without thinking i thought i still had aim on Timothy but i didnt..." Brodie smiled and began laughing like a madman. "You will regret this Miguel. You will regret this."
Jay stared starstruck. "Th-this is Brodies loop." Miguel nodded. "Yes, yes it is." Miguel continued. If we are ever gonna escape this place we are gonna need to-" Miguel fell to the ground. Jay began panicking. Miguel had been shot. "Its like i said if i had a gun i would blow his brains out." Jay jumped back startled. "Brodie?" Brodie smiled. "In the flesh. Now about this great escape plan of yours. If i have anything to say about it, it wont happen. Ever. Say goodnight." Brodie shot Jay. Jay then awoke in bed. "Ahhhhh" he had just finished stretching. He opened up his pen cap and wrote in his journal. "Ok." He added another tick mark. "587, 587 loops down."
