"Fine," Kirishima dropped my wrist. "She'll just have to pick who to go to. Come on, let go of her." Bakugou hissed before following his instructions. "(Y/N), choose one."

I turned my head to my left and Kirishima was there. I turned my head slowly to my right and Bakugou was there. I should really let Bakugou explain himself, but I've had enough of him. His eyes, they were usually filled with anger and irritation. but this time, they were filled with concern and desperation. Why? Why is he caring now? But, I could say the same for myself. Why am I starting to care now? Has he realised the same thing as I did? So many questions, so little answers. I gulped down once more.

With tears trickling down my cheeks, I turned my body to my left and slowly walked to Kirishima. I gave one last look at Bakugou. "...Nensho..." His face was shocked, surprised, astonished. He too looked like he felt betrayed. But why? Why do we feel like this? The closest word I could ever think of to describe this feeling is 'betrayal'. I watched as Gomi latched onto his arm and smiled at me in victory.

"Thank you," she very softly whispered those words. Bakugou didn't even push her off anymore. He just kept staring at me with wide eyes and his mouth agape.

"Come on, (Y/N)," Kirishima extended his arms out and pulled me close to him. "Let's get you home." I nodded before we slowly left Gomi and Bakugou behind. Kirishima and I went back to the rest of the class who had been looking everywhere for us. He explained briefly what happened before asked someone to send me home.

"Oh no... (Y/N), I'm so sorry that happened to you," Tooru whimpered as Jirou stood next to her and patted her shoulder.

"We'll let you girls talk," Kirishima said. "The boys and I will stay at the festival for a little while. Take care of (Y/N), please," he turned to the girls and asked them for a favour. The girls hummed and nodded. Kirishima smiled before turning back to me and giving me one last, warm hug. "I hope you'll feel better when school comes back," he whispered into my ear.

"Thanks, Kiri," I muttered. He pulled away and gave me a reassuring smile before he led most of the concerned boys away. Izuku, however, stayed back and approached me with clenched fists.

"(Y/N)," Izuku started. "Talk to me, okay? We are family. We're supposed to tell each other everything. Even though I've been spending time with you, I feel distant from you when it comes to things like this." Izuku rested his hand on my shoulder and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "I'm worried that you might be going through a lot."

I grinned and shook my head. "I'm fine, Izuku. I'll talk to you when I really can't handle things, alright? I'm still standing strong!" I attempted to give him a bright, reassuring smile. Izuku frowned and retracted his hand. He sighed and nodded before excusing himself to leave and go to the rest of the boys. I turned my head to the rest of the girls, who still had concerned expressions on their faces.

Ochako cleared her throat before she said, "Come on, girls," Every girl turned to her. "Let's get (Y/N) home." We nodded and headed to the direction of Yaomomo's car.

When we got to the car, we started our journey to my house after I told Yaomomo my address. The trip was very silent. Someone had to break the silence. "You could really use a break, (Y/N)," Tsu cleared her throat before she said that.

"Yeah," Mina mumbled. "I'm sorry about what happened. This was supposed to be a fun event, not a heart-shattering one..."

I shook my head. "I-It's alright, girls."

"(Y/N)," Yaomomo caught my attention. "Tsu is right, please use the weekend as a break from everything else. We won't bother you." The other girls nodded and hummed in agreement. When we arrived at my house, I thanked Yaomomo and the girls for the trip back home. "(Y/N), we hope you'll feel better soon. 'Use your smile to change the world but don't let the world change your smile'," Yaomomo quoted someone I was not too familiar with.
