The school had us healed by Recovery Girl before letting us go home to rest up after we became pretty exhausted after healing. Aunt Inko came to pick up Izuku, only to find out that her son was missing. She was absolutely devastated. My parents had to comfort her until she calmed down before we left for home. After saying goodbye to my friends, Mother and Father picked me up from school for this one time only. They usually want me to walk home but today was an exception. "What was it like, sweetie?" Mother asked me from the front seat.

I shrugged and looked down, exhausted, "I don't know. Everything happened so fast."

Mother frowned and sighed, "I'm just happy you didn't have any major injuries. I heard from your teacher that you displayed bravery, initiative and observant skills in the situation." She smiled at me through the rearview mirror. "I'm proud of you, sweetie. I would faint if that were to happen to me."

"Our daughter is a stronger version of us combined, honey," Father spoke while driving. "She's got my physical quirk, but her quick-thinking mind is just like your speed quirk. I'm positive that she can go through any storm and come out as a better person than she was before!" He has always been like this, being so positive about me.

There was a moment of silence in the car. Again, my mind began to wander. I tried to recall what happened back there. Remembering what happened to Izuku, I bit my lip nervously. He has One for All, the same power All Might, the number one hero, has. With him being in the villains' domain, it would be very dangerous if they happen to have mind-controlling quirks. No, I shouldn't think about negative crap anymore. I need to think about something else to distract myself. I have to train harder now, for Izuku. I wonder if Bakugou made it back home safely. I slowly looked up at my parents. I wonder if they remember him. Wanting to get rid of the awkward silence, I asked, "...You two remember Katsuki Bakugou, right?"

"Of course," Mother responded. "How can we forget? He and Izuku used to visit our house years ago when you were kids. I haven't seen him in a while, though. How is he?" She turned around to look at me with her warm smile.

I gulped, "Have I mentioned that Izuku and I are in the same class as him?"

"Really?" Father questioned. "We don't remember you mention anything about that. Why? Did something happen?"

I put my hands together and started to fidget around with them. "W-Well, yeah, we're in the same class and," I bit my lip before continuing. Why am I even telling them this? I can't help but be so open towards my parents. "He's actually the boy I was talking about last week," I admitted.

My mother's eyes widened. "(Y/N), baby," she began. "You're into guys like him?" She asked quickly.

I tensed up, my shoulders rising and my face burning up. "W-W-Well," I stuttered. "He has a different side to him too..! Even though he comes off as rude and aggressive, he has a caring side to him..." I looked down and smiled to myself at the thought of him. His image flashed in my mind. "His caring side can get rough and angry too, but I just like how he cares."

Father smiled and chuckled to himself, "Just like your mother."

"Eh?" I was slightly taken aback.

"Honey!" Mother scolded him lightly. "We don't talk about the old days, alright?"

Father laughed and completely ignored what Mother said, "Your mother used to be very tough when we were young. But when we had you, she completely changed."

"I said," Mother repeated. "We don't talk about those days. I had many regrets, but... I guess if I hadn't made those choices, we probably wouldn't be here today."

My parents liked telling stories of their past. Though it can get interesting at times, I wanted to continue with my story before we reach our home. "Heh, well, I have to thank him for protecting me when the bus crashed and during the fight. He's the reason why I only had minor injuries," I bit my lip, feeling a little guilty. "I completely forgot to thank him. I don't know why I'm telling you this but I just wanted to let you know what has been going on."

My mom looked at me and then my dad before turning back to face the front. "As I said a week ago, (Y/N)," she recalled. "No matter what your choices are, your dad and I will support you. Besides, Bakugou seems like a nice young man, judging by your comments." I smiled at her words.

"I love you both," I said.

"We love you more," they chuckled.

When we arrived home, I went up to my room and quickly changed into fresh and comfortable pyjamas. I took out my phone before plopping myself onto my soft bed. As I enjoyed the comfort of my bed, I scrolled through social media on my phone. I viewed my classmates' updates saying how they felt exhausted. My body was so tired and sore after the incident. If my throat was a person, it would be scolding me for overusing my quirk. Ding dong! Unexpectedly, I heard the doorbell ring from downstairs. "(Y/N), sweetheart?" I heard Father call my name out from the kitchen. "Can you answer the door? Your mother and I are making early dinner!" I groaned as I pushed my eyes back. I didn't want to get up from my bed, but I guess I have to.

I walked down a flight of stairs and approached the door. I opened it, not knowing who would be on the other side. The person in front of me was taller than me and my head had to tilt upwards to look at him in the eyes. It was a boy with ruby red eyes and blond spiky hair. "Nensho," greeted Bakugou with an unbothered expression. He was wearing a dark grey sleeveless hoodie and black pants. He also had bandages on his face and arms which broke my heart.

"B-Bakugou?" My eyes widened. "What're you doing here?" I questioned his presence as I took a step back.

"Just checking up on you," Bakugou responded casually.

"Aren't you supposed to be at home?" I raised a brow at him, scolding him slightly as I tilted my head and placing a hand on my hip. "You should be resting, you explosive idiot."

"I do whatever I want, dumbass," Bakugou muttered out, whispering the word 'dumbass'. "Besides, I'm fine."

My mother peeked around the corner of the kitchen. How do I know this? Well, I overheard her saying, "Bakugou? Katsuki Bakugou?" I jumped slightly as I turned around to see my mother in the kitchen with a smile on her face. "Oh my! Is it really you? You've grown tall!" She turned her gaze over to me. "Come on, (Y/N), let the boy inside."

I nodded and dragged Bakugou in before shutting the door behind him, "So, who told you to come here?" I crossed my arms and leaned against the closed front door.

Bakugou raised a brow at me, "Tch, what the hell do you mean? I came here willingly, dumbass."

"Are you sure?" I pouted slightly. "The Bakugou I knew would never visit just to check up on me."

"There you go," he pointed out. "'The Bakugou you knew', past tense. Again, I do whatever I want, and I wanted to visit you, got that, you (H/C)-haired nerd?" He looked up in the direction of where my mother was. "How are your parents? It's been a long time since I've spoken to them."

I gulped, "They're in the kitchen cooking dinner. I think they'd want to see you too." I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the kitchen area. Once my parents saw him, they gasped.

"Well, if it isn't Katsuki Bakugou," my father smiled. "You've grown tall. You used to be so short."

Bakugou chuckled, the expression on his face was soft and pure, none of that angry and scowling look. Was this guy really Bakugou? "That was years ago, Mr Midoriya," Bakugou said.

"You should really stay for dinner," my mother offered. "We're just about to finish up!" She turned to my direction and gave me a quick grin. Oh no, I know what she's up to. It's because my big mouth had to open during the ride home.

"Oh, no," Bakugou tried his best to politely decline, but we all know it's not in his nature. "My old hag would yell the hell out of me if she found out I ate here." Yeah, I take back what I said. This was definitely Bakugou. Thank goodness he was gonna leave, how awkward would it be if he actually stayed for dinner-.

"Oh, please!" Mother insisted. "I'll call Mitsuki before we eat just to let her know. Don't worry, I'll tell her I dragged you into it."

Oh god. I shouldn't have said a word in the car.
