Soon, Can, Sanem and the kids returned home from their camping trip. Deniz and Yildiz were grounded for the next week for the disappearing act that did while camping. Can checked the mail upon entering their driveway. There was a huge package for Sanem. Sanem took the package and went into he house, with the kids following. Deniz and Yildiz went straight to their rooms, which was a part of their punishment. Can and Ates unloaded the truck. Sanem opened the package she received and found her second book completed. It was beautiful. Sanem had tears in her eyes. Can found her in the kitchen, still holding the book. He embraced his wife and told her how proud he was of her. Sanem told him she never thought she would get one book published, let alone two books. Can looked at the cover and it read "The Phoenix and the Albatross: Their Life Together" by Sanem Divit. Can was so happy she used her married name. Can kissed his wife. He said his wife is a famous author twice now. Sanem smiled.

Sanem went to start dinner. She decided to make dolma with her special sauce. Can got everything unpacked from the camping trip and started laundry. He checked on the girls who were grounded and in their rooms. Deniz was sitting on her bed reading to Adil. She smiled when Can popped his head in. He asked if she was doing alright. Deniz said she was fine. She told her daddy again how sorry she was about what happened at camp. Can told her he appreciated her apology and hopes that she learns something from her punishment. Deniz told her dad she has learned, and she will accept her punishment for the week. Can gave his very smart daughter a kiss. He went to check on Yildiz. Yildiz was laying across her bed looking at the ceiling. Can smiled at his youngest daughter. Yildiz saw her dad and said hi, dad. Can asked what she doing. Yildiz said she was thinking about what she did to get grounded. Can asked her if she knew what she did to get grounded. Yildiz said yes. She told her dad she had to pee, got lost and now she was sitting in her room. Can had to hide his laughter. He told her no. She was punished because she wandered off in the woods without letting him or her mom know. He told her she broke one of the rules at camp. Yildiz said yes, she did, but she had to pee. Can told her he would come get her when dinner was done. Yildiz said OK.

Can went back to tell Sanem about his conversation with the girls. Sanem died laughing over what Yildiz said. She told Can that girl was going to give them a run for their money when she was older. Can said she was to smart for her own good. Can helped Sanem set the table for dinner. Can went and got the girls and Sanem went and got Ates. They all sat down to eat. Yildiz spoke up and asked her parents if her punishment was over yet. Sanem told her no. She had 6 more days. She told them that was a long, long time. Sanem told her that she broke a rule while at camp. Yildiz argued that she had to pee. She said if she took the time to wake them up, she would have had an accident. Sanem told her again she broke the rule, got lost and had her parents scared to death. She was being punished for a week to learn a lesson on how important rules are. Yildiz rolled her eyes and said nothing more. They ate the rest of their dinner in silence.

After dinner, Deniz and Yildiz went back to their room and Can and Sanem cleaned up the kitchen. Soon it was bath time and getting dressed for bed. Once the kids were down for the night, Can and Sanem went and sat in the living area. Sanem told Can that Deniz understood her punishment, but Yildiz just wasn't understanding it. She asked Can if Yildiz was to young to understand that she did wrong. Can told her no. Yildiz would have to know there are consequences for her actions. He told Sanem she would learn it sooner or later. Sanem told Can he was right. Can teased her and said he was always right. Sanem giggled and told him if it made him feel better to think that, then go ahead. Can put his arm around his wife and pulled her close to him. They just sat there in silence, enjoying each other's company. They headed to bed a little later.

The next morning, they were up and headed to the agency. Sanem and Can had to leave early today to sign the twins up school. It started in just a few weeks. Sanem was not ready to send her two youngest kids to school. It was hard sending Deniz when it was her time to start school. She hoped that Yildiz and Ates handled it well. Can and Sanem got some work done before they had to step out to get the twins signed up school. They picked the twins up from day care, so they could go with them. They arrived at the school and Ates and Yildiz were perplexed over how big the building was. They all walked in together to meet the twins' teacher. The teacher was very nice, and the twins seem to like her. She showed the kids where they would be sitting and gave them their name tags to wear the first day of school. Sanem filled out the necessary paperwork so they would be ready for the first day of school. The teacher gave Sanem and Can a list of things that the twins would need for school.

After they were signed up, they all stopped for lunch before taking the twins back to day care. They dropped the kids off at day care and headed upstairs. They had a meeting scheduled soon for a possible new client. Deren came to let them know their scheduled appointment was here. Can told her to send them in. An older man and a younger woman entered their office. He introduced himself as Ahmet and the young lady was his daughter, Ayca. Can shook their hands, as did Sanem. Can introduced himself and then introduced his wife, Sanem. Ayca told her she had read her first book. She said she was a fan. Can informed her that Sanem just recently published her second book. Ayca said she could not wait to read it. They got down to business. Can was very impressed with the clients' business and really wanted to work with them. All Sanem noticed was Ayca constantly checking her husband out. Ayca noticed pictures on Can's shelf of his travels. She started asking him about them. Ayca had been to almost every place Can had mentioned. She was also into traveling and outdoor sports. Can admitted he doesn't travel very often now. He chooses to stay close to his wife and three kids. Ayca told him that was to bad because her and friends are constantly making plans to do stuff, like climbing, white water rafting, etc. She would love it if he could tag along once in a while. Can told her he appreciated the offer, but he was a family man now. Ayca told him he ever changes his mind about joining them, just give her a call.

By the time they left, Sanem was steaming. Can noticed something was wrong, because his talkative wife was just to quiet. He asked her what was wrong. Sanem told him nothing, that she was fine. She told Can she was going downstairs to the archives. Can said OK. He tried to give her a quick kiss, but she was too fast for him and was out the door. Sanem was in the archives room thinking. She did not want him to feel like he was locked in a cage. She was so deep in thought; she didn't hear her husband approach her. Can embraced her from behind and she let out a little squeal. She play smacked him and told him he scared her. Can demanded to know what was wrong. Sanem kept saying nothing. Can insisted on her telling him. She asked him the questions that had been burning in her head. Did he miss traveling and doing his outdoor activities? Was she and the kids holding him back? Would he regret all this later in life?

Can was silent for a minute. He then told Sanem he did not miss traveling. He did a lot of traveling in the past because he really had no place to call home. He now had her, and the kids and they were everything to him. He told her that her and kids were definitely not holding him back from anything and he would never regret giving up traveling. Sanem hugged her husband and gave him a kiss. She told him she loved him so very much. Can told her he loved her very much.
