THE QUEEN'S JOKER BROTHER

Can and Sanem were both shocked to see Yigit behind Polen. He told Sanem hello and asked how she was. Before Sanem could answer, Can asked him what the hell he was doing there. Yigit smirked at him and told him he was there for his sister, Polen. Sanem told Yigit she thought he had gone back to Canada. Yigit said he left Istanbul but had not made it back home to Canada yet. He admitted that he had been traveling around a bit. Unknown to Can and Sanem, Yigit had never left Istanbul. He has been laying low; watching and waiting for his opportunity. He knew everything that was going on in Can and Sanem's lives. He was mad as hell when their accident didn't go as planned. He worked hard and planned it perfect. They were not supposed to survive the accident. He hired a guy to slam into their vehicle. Sanem survived with barely a scratch and Can suffered memory loss. He hated them both with a passion. Can for taking Sanem away from him and Sanem for rejecting his proposal. Now they were happily getting married in 4 days and Can got his memories back. He wasn't going to let it happen. Yigit bid farewell to Sanem and smirked at Can. He then left Can's office with Polen.

Can was pacing back and forth. He was angry. He thought that bastard left. Just seeing him again made his blood boil. Sanem stepped in front of Can and touched his face. He immediately stopped and looked down at her. She smiled up at him and told him to calm down. She told him Yigit couldn't hurt them anymore. They were going to be husband and wife in 4 days. They were going to be together forever. She stood on tiptoe and gave him a gentle kiss. Can wrapped his arms around her and deepened the kiss. He felt and heard Sanem moan into his mouth. He lifted his head and just stared at her. He told her that he loved her, and 4 days couldn't come soon enough. Sanem smiled up at him and told him she loved him too.

That evening on the farm, Can and Sanem laid together in the hammock watching the stars. Sanem was telling Can stories about the different constellations. Can enjoyed listening to her. He watched her face light up each time she told him a story. Sanem fell asleep shortly after with Can's arms wrapped around her. Can continue to lay there in the hammock with her enjoying her warmth. He too eventually fell asleep. Unknown to them, Yigit was close by; watching them with hate. He spoke out loud one word....soon.

Can woke the next morning, still in the hammock. Sanem moved sometime during the night and she was now laying on top of him. Her head buried in his neck. Her chest against his chest. Can's arms were wrapped around her, holding her in place. He loved the feel of her. He wanted to stay like this forever. Sanem slowly woke up. She was shocked when she realized the position, they were in. She tried to get up, but Can would not let her. He told her 5 more minutes, please. I beg you. Sanem laughed at his memory of the first time they slept in a hammock by the sea. She said OK, 5 more minutes. They both laughed.

A little later, they were in the kitchen eating breakfast. Can asked her what her plans were for the day. Sanem told him she had to go pick up her wedding dress because the alterations were complete. Can said he would take her. Sanem said nice try but you cannot see my dress until our wedding day. She told him that Leyla was going with her. She asked him if his tux was ready to pick up yet. He asked her if she was seriously going to make him wear that monkey suit. She told him it was for one day and that he would survive. Can just smiled at her and told her he would call to see if it was ready. She kissed him good-bye, told him she loved him and went to meet Leyla.

Sanem and Leyla arrived at the dress shop. Sanem went to try on her dress with the new alterations. It fit perfect. Leyla told her she looked stunning and that it was going to take Can's breath away. They took her dress and left to get some lunch. In the meantime, Can and Embre were picking up his tux. Embre asked Can if he was having a bachelor party. Can told him flat out no. He was done being a bachelor and didn't want to celebrate not being one anymore. Embre laughed at him. He told Can he had thrown his anchor down at the pier of Sanem. Can laughed at that but agreed 100%.

Can got in his truck and headed back to the farm. He was hoping Sanem had already made it back. He felt the need to hold her. Sanem was heading back in a taxi when the taxi broke down. She wasn't far from home, so she decided to walk the rest of the way. She paid the taxi driver, grabbed her dress and started the walk home. She texted Can to let him know what happened with the taxi and she was walking the rest of the way. She told him she was almost home. Can got her text message and headed to his truck so he could go pick her up. Sanem was walking along daydreaming about her upcoming wedding. She couldn't believe in just 3 days she was going to be Mrs. Can Divit. She was so happy. She heard a vehicle approaching. She looked up and saw the vehicle gaining speed. She wondered why it wasn't slowing down. Then the vehicle swerved into Sanem's path. She was frozen in place but let out a blood curdling scream. At the last minute, Sanem jumped off the road into some weeds. Her dress went flying. Sanem landed on her knees and she felt the pain radiate through her body. She felt the wind from the vehicle as it passed by her. Sanem stayed there in the weeds. She was scared to move. She realized that someone just deliberately tried to run her down. She stood up when she thought the coast was clear. Her clothes were dirty and torn. Her knees were busted open and bleeding. She was covered in dirt from head to toe. She started crying due to being so scared. She picked up her dress and started limping down the road. She heard another vehicle coming up the road, but it was coming in the direction from her home. She stopped walking and remained frozen in place. She immediately recognized Can's truck. Can saw her and slammed on his brakes. He jumped out of his truck and ran to her. He wrapped his arms around her while she cried. He kept asking her what happened and if she was OK. Sanem just kept sobbing. Can picked her up and placed her in his truck. He put her dress in the back seat. Can then climbed in behind the wheel. He turned to her and took her hands. She was trembling. She could not talk to him due to her sobbing. Can turned the truck around and headed back to the farm.

By the time I reached the farm, Sanem had calmed down some. Can jumped out of the truck and came around to her side of the truck. He reached in and picked her up into his arms and walked her into the house. He gently placed her on the couch. He ran to get the first aid kit and clean rags to clean her wounds. When he got back to the living area, Sanem's sobs had subsided. He asked her what happened. Sanem was able to tell him that once she started walking, a vehicle tried to run her down. She told him she jumped off the road and landed in the weeds. Can was pissed. He jumped up to go look for this vehicle, but Sanem cried out for him to stop. She begged him not to leave her. He went back and sat on the couch beside her. He wrapped his arms around her and just held her. After a short time, Can carried her to the bathroom. He gently removed her clothes and placed her in the shower. Can them removed his own clothes and stepped into the shower behind her. He gently washed her from head to toe, paying close attention to the wounds on her knees. He washed and rinsed her hair. He then held her in the shower. They were chest to chest, and it felt so right. Can turned off the shower and helped Sanem out of the shower. He wrapped her in a towel, picked her up and carried her to the bed. Can threw some shorts and a t-shirt on and went to get the first aid kit. He came back to Sanem and bandaged her knees. He tucked her into bed and got in beside her. He wrapped his arms around her and rubbed her back until she fell asleep. Can could not sleep at all that night. He couldn't figure out who would want to hurt his precious Sanem. He vowed he would find out who did this.
