THE GIRLS GET PUNISHED

Can and Emre were getting deeper into the woods. They were both calling out the girls' names. Can kept whistling, trying to get Adil's attention. There was no response from the girls or Adil. They kept walking. Can could not figure out where they went. He happen to look towards the ground and found a little barrette. Emre said it was Guliz's. Can knew they were headed in the right direction then. They kept moving forward. Can was looking for broken twigs or branched to let him know somebody came this way. He found several along the way.

Deniz, Guliz, Yildiz and Adil were so lost. Their parents were going to be so mad that they wandered off. It was one of their rules and they broke it. Yildiz had to go to the bathroom and it was still a little dark. So, all the girls went together with Adil following them. After Yildiz used the bathroom they somehow got turned around and couldn't find their way back out of the woods. They just seemed to get deeper and deeper into the woods. Now they had no idea where they were or even how far they were away from their parents. Yildiz would not stop crying for their mom and dad. Deniz tried to comfort her, but Yildiz was just to scared. They kept hearing weird animal noises. It was daylight now, so they could at least see what was in front of them. Deniz hoped her daddy was looking for them and found them soon.

Sanem and Leyla were a nervous wreck back at camp. They would not let Omer or Ates out of their sight. They were scared they would disappear too. Sanem and Leyla just sat there holding hands and praying their kids would be found. Ates saw how upset his mom was and came over and hugged her. He told his mom it would OK. He told her dad would find his sisters and cousin. Sanem hugged her son and let the tears fall. She told Ates he was such a big boy and she kissed his cheek. She told him thank you for helping me keep it together. He told his mom he loved her. Omer went and sat on Leyla's lap. Leyla just held her precious little boy. He patted his mommy's cheek and smiled at her. Leyla kissed his chubby cheek.

Meanwhile, Can and Emre were still searching the woods. Emre found another barrette of Guliz's, so they kept moving forward. Can was still whistling for Adil and calling out for the girls. Can finally heard a bark in the distance. Can continued whistling. Soon, Adil broke through the brush. Can got down and petted Adil and told him he was a good boy. He asked Adil where the girls were. Emre thought Can was nuts. He told Can that doesn't understand. Adil took off in a run the way he came. Can looked at Emre and asked really? They ran after Adil. Can kept whistling so Adil would not get to far ahead of them. Emre was yelling each girl's name. Can still heard Adil barking, so he kept heading in that direction.

Deniz thought she heard someone whistling. She had no idea where Adil went. He just took off in a run. She tried to holler for him to come back, but he just kept running. She kept hearing Adil bark, but he seemed so far away. Deniz told Yildiz and Guliz they would sit and rest for a bit. They found a log and sat down. Yildiz had finally stopped crying. She told Deniz she missed her mommy and daddy. Deniz told her she did too. Guliz said she missed her mommy, daddy and little brother. Deniz said she even missed her brother, Ates. The girls heard something coming through the brush. They got scared. They didn't know what animals were out there in the woods. Suddenly, Adil broke through the brush and ran straight to Deniz. Deniz hugged her dog and told him she was worried about him. She scolded him for running off. Yildiz came over and hugged Adil. Adil licked her face. Adil started barking loudly. Deniz could not figure out why he was barking. She kept telling him to be quiet.

Can and Emre still heard Adil barking, so they kept following the sound. Can was still whistling and Emre was calling the girls names.

Deniz definitely heard whistling and now she heard someone yelling their names. Deniz started yelling back....we are here....we are here. Guliz and Yildiz started yelling back too. Adil was still barking. They heard something else coming through the brush, so the girls all huddled together. Suddenly, Can and Emre broke through the brush and there were their daughters all huddled together. Deniz saw her dad and took off running towards him. She jumped into her dad's arms and hugged him while she cried. Yildiz came running too and leaped into Can's arms. She was crying and holding her dad. Emre saw Guliz and he ran to her. She started crying and Emre picked her up and hugged her tightly.

Can asked the girls what were they thinking? How did they get this far into the woods? Deniz explained about Yildiz having to use the restroom and then they got turned around and seemed to end up further into the woods. Can told his girls their mother was worried sick about them. Emre told Guliz the same thing. Can told everyone to come on, so they could get back to Sanem and Leyla who were upset and waiting to hear something. Can carried both of his girls out of the woods, as Emre carried his daughter. Adil followed close behind. It took close to an hour and a half to make it back to camp. When Sanem saw them, she took off running. Can put his girls down and they ran to their mommy. Sanem got down on her knees and held both of her daughters. Leyla saw Emre and Guliz and ran to them.

Can told the story to Sanem and Leyla on how the girls got lost. Sanem asked Deniz why she didn't wake her or her dad up. Deniz thought she was big enough to handle a little restroom trip, but she was wrong. Sanem told her she was definitely wrong. Sanem went to help the girls clean themselves up and get them dressed in clean clothes. Leyla did the same with Guliz. When the girls were cleaned and dressed, they came out of the tent and sat down. Emre, Leyla, Can and Sanem gave them a stern talking too. Can told the girls they broke one of the rules about wandering off. Deniz said they did, and she was sorry. Can told her sorry wasn't going to cut it. He told them anything could have happened to them while in the woods. He told Deniz and Guliz when they returned home, they were grounded for a week. They would go to daycare while him and Sanem worked, then they were to go home and stay in their rooms until dinner time. No playing outside. No friends over. Deniz and Yildiz nodded that they understood. Emre told Guliz the same goes for her. She was also grounded for a week. No playing outside and no friends over. Guliz just nodded her head.

Later that night, after the kids were in their tents for the night, Sanem and Can went to their tent. He asked her if she was OK. Sanem nodded her head yes. She told him she was so scared something bad had happened to their girls. She had tears running down her face. Can held her while she cried. He kept whispering to her that everything was fine now. Nothing bad happened to the girls. After she calmed down, she lifted her head. She thanked him for bringing their girls home. Can told her she never had to thank him. It was his job to protect and care for his family. He said he would do it with his last breath.
