Chapter 1

LISA'S POV

I am currently on our main branch, checking the monthly reports that was submitted by our branch managers. So far, so good. The restaurant is still running smoothly. Thus, I am thinking of a way to expand it more. I am young and ambitious by the way. I want our restaurant to be knowned worldwide as well. That is my ultimate dream.

I don't like to be stagnant and just remain in Korea. I want my Dad to be proud of me since he put so much dedication here in our restaurant. Not that he met my Mom here because she was a regular customer then.

As I was thinking of a new strategy for expansion, one of my bestfriend Bambam called me.

"Yow, Lalice! What's up??" He greeted me upon picking up the phone.

"Just fine, Bam. Same old. Why did you call?" I asked

"Just wanna invite you later for a drink. I just got promotted!!" He happily said.

"Wow! That's great! That really calls for a celebration. I will call Chaeng." I said.

"No need. I already told her. Meet you at their bar later tonight. 8pm. Please don't be late again." He pleaded.

"Yeah yeah. I won't be late tonight. See you later." I just said. Kekeke

"Yeah! See you. Bye" he drops the call.

Bambam is currently working at Kim Hotel. He's at the PR department. I wonder what possition he is right now.

He actually don't need to work for Kim Hotel since their family got a business too. But he insist that he want to make it on his own and not rely on his family's wealth. He wants to prove something for himself before he will handle their company which is a record label producing company.

While Chaeyoung already got her own restau bar. She put it up since she also wants to have her own. That was her parent's gift for her after finishing college.

With those thoughts, it brought her back to thinking of ways to expand their business.

JENNIES' POV

It was a bad day for her. Some well known business man just complained about the service of the restaurant they're tied up with in their hotel. It is actually not the first time that they got complained. Some are because of bad service, others are because of the inconsistency of the taste of the food.

She should not be bothered by it because it's not under their management. But still, since they are also carrying the reputation of Kim Hotel, she has to do something about it.

"Mina, please inform all the directors that we will be having an emergency meeting in 20 minutes." She called her secretary through intercom.

"Noted, Ms. Kim." Her secretary said.

She pressed her temples because of the sudden head ache because of the issue. She has to come up with a solution fast or else, their credibility will be dragged because of that stupid restaurant owner.

After 20 minutes, she headed out of office to proceed with their meeting.

"Now that we're complete, let's start the discussion."

She narrated the problem to the board and asked them if they can come up with a suggestion regarding the matter.

"Since their contract with us will expire within 3 months, maybe we should not renew it and find a new restaurant to be of our partner." One of the board said.
