Chapter 9

LISA'S POV

I am patiently waiting here at the cafè. It's already 9 o'clock but there's still no sign of Jennie coming in here. I don't have her personal number and I don't wanna call her office since she said not to mix our personal matters with work.

I sighed. I think she's not coming. Maybe she just said that she'll be meeting me for me to leave earlier.

"Thirty minutes. I'll wait for thirty minutes more." I murmured to myself.

I was sipping my second cup of coffee since I've been waiting for quite long already. I don't feel like eating anything cause I am getting anxious if she'll make it and how our conversation will go.

It's 9:15 already. I looked at the door when I heard the chimes, meaning there's someone who entered. And there I saw her. She roam her eyes on the store. Maybe to find if where I am.

I stand up for her to see me. I caught her attention and glanced towards me. Our eyes met.

I felt relieved that she still made it even though she's late. I wonder why because when we're still together, she's the one who's almost always arriving earlier on our meeting place.

She walked towards me then sit. She did not even bothered to apologize of her coming in late. I just shrugged it of and also take a sit.

"What do you want to have?" I asked her.

"Nothing. Let's just get over with this. I'm tired and I just wanna go home and rest." She said and I can see tiredness in her eyes. Is she tired from work or she's tired of me? I suddenly wanna ask.

"If that's the case, maybe we should get this done." I sighed.

She did not utter a word. It seems like she's waiting for me to speak first and so I did.

"What happend to us, Jennie?" I asked her.

She seemed surprised by my question cause she suddenly sit straight on her seat with her eyes a bit widend.

"You're really asking me that shit?" She also asked in disbelief.

"I just said it, right?" I casually said to her.

"You're unbelievable. Why do you act like I am the one who's at fault??" She said while I see anger in her eyes.

"What do you mean? I did not do something wrong." I said as a matter of fact. I don't understand why she's so mad at me. As far as I know, she got someone behind my back before.

"Don't act like the innocent here, you cheater." She said flatly but full of anger.

"What??? I never cheat! You're the one who cheated in the first place!" I exclaimed at her. I never cheated. What the hell is she talking about?

"Don't pass the blame on me! I saw you with my own eyes!" She said.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Jennie. Since the day I first saw you in that cafè, I never even looked at anyone else. That's how much I loved you." I told her

"You're a liar. I saw you hugging and kissing some red haired girl near your school's gate. You two looked very happy then. Never looked at anyone else my ass. You're still together, right??" She hissed at me.
