Chapter 6

LISA'S POV

I still can't get over with our encounter earlier. I will be loosing my mind if I will keep on thinking of her and all our what ifs.

Bambam called me and asked to have a few drinks. He wanted to know what happend in my meeting with their CEO.

I agreed right away. Maybe I needed some alcohol to calm my self up.

Bambam and Chaeyong didn't had a chance to meet Jennie before. Our relation was too short for me to introduce her to my bestfriends that is why Bambam doesn't have any idea that the Jennie my ex is the same as the Jennie his CEO.

We're now at Chaeyoung's bar. I went earlier than Bambam and he's surprised AF! Hahaha

"Yow, Lisa!! Is it really you??" Bambam asked me in disbelief.

"That is exactly my reaction earlier, Bam." Chaeng told him while laughing.

"Yah!! Next time I will not be early again." I told them then drink my beer. I am on my second bottle now.

"Hey? Is there a problem? You're on your second bottle already. You didn't even wait for me." He asked with a crinckled forehead.

"I'm cool. I don't want to just stare at others so I started to drink." I act cool and just shrugged my shoulder.

"So, how was the meeting?" He asked then opened a bottle for him then drink.

"It's just fine. I have the contract and let my legal team check on it earlier. So far, every terms are okay. I signed it and will send it back tomorrow." I said then finished my bottle.

I opened another one and they can't help but to ask if I am really okay.

"Hey, Lis? Are you really okay? You seem different. You should be celebrating since you already have the contract." Bambam asked again.

I sighed. Maybe I should tell them what really happend so that I can voice out what's bugging me all day. I also need a friend right now.

"Remember Jennie?" I asked them both out of no where.

"Yeah. Your ex on our last month in college. What about her?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Well, she happens to be Bambam's Boss." I answered.

"What???" They both exclaimed in surprise.

"That cold but hot Jennie Kim?" He asked with big eyes.

"Do you really have to say "hot" to describe her??" I asked with an eyebrow up.

"Chill, Lis. She's really pretty and hot. What can I say?" Bam answered with his hand up like he surrender.

"Wow! What a small world. What happend on your meeting then?" Chaeng asked sensibly unlike Bambam.

"He's right. She's too cold. I didn't even had a decent conversation with her. Our meeting did not last for 5 minutes. She just let her secretary do the discussion for her." I answered with my eyes lost in somewhere.

"What will happen then? It's a good thing that she did not withdraw the contract." Bam stated.

"Well, she's somewhat professional. Maybe that is why she still pushed through with the partnership." I just answered.

We fell into silence for about a minute. Then Chaeng asked me something again.

"How are you?" She asked simply. They know how devastated I was after our break up. I did not entered into a relationship after Jennie.
