Chapter 19

JENNIE'S POV

It's been 3 days since the accident and Lisa still hasn't waken up yet. Everyday, I am staying here at her side. I am not reporting for work. I already told my parents about the situation and we haven't talked about it yet because I am spending my time at the hospital.

My clothes are being delivered by Jisoo and Nayeon from my condo so that I can shower and change clothes every now and then.

Lisa's parents are allowing me to stay. Although they are always telling me to go home for a while to regain strenght and sleep. I am crying a river already. Being so worried because it's been days that she is still sleeping.

The doctors decided not to put her in ICU cause her vitals are stable. They are just waiting for her to wake up for further examination and observation.

A week has been passed. I am still on Lisa's side. I am now talking to her since the doctor said that we should talk to her once in a while cause she might still hear us. We must encourage her to wake up and all.

"Love, please wake up. I miss you so much." I told her while giving her a sponge bath. I am not letting the nurses do it for I don't want them to see her body and touch her. I am a jealous girlfriend, I admit.

"I already told my parents about us. I also talked to your parents and told them that I am your girlfriend. Please wake up now. And please don't forget about me." I pleaded her.

As the day goes by that I am here in the hospital and I am here with Lisa's parents, we casually talk and I shared my moment or two with Lalisa. I already told them that I knew Lisa way back when we were in college and that we already had a past before.

They are shocked cause Lisa hasn't told a thing about us then. I told them that our relationship before was short lived because of our immaturity and that Lisa might not had an opportunity to tell them about me. I already told them how we got back together and how our relationship has progressed and even our last fight, I already told them.

They said that they understood me cause what Lisa and I have is unconventional for our country. But despite that, they still support us and wishing us all the luck in this world.

"Jennie, do you want to go home for a while? You haven't had a good sleep since Lisa was admitted to this hospital. I am worried that even before she wakes up, you will be confined in here too." Lisa's Mom told me when she entered and brought me some food.

"I'm okay, Ma'am. I can't leave Lisa in here." I answered her.

"I told you to call me Mom, not Ma'am." She said then tapped my shoulder.

"I'm sorry, I always forgot, Mom. But really. I am fine." I assured her.

"If you say so. I have brought some food for you. I know you haven't taken your breakfast just yet." She told me then gave the packed sandwich and coffee.

"Thanks, Mom." I said and then went to the table to eat. I let her sit next to Lisa. She's caressing her forehead and squeezed Lisa's hand. Telling her daughter to wake up already.

I know she's just hidding her tears. She's being strong for Lisa cause she said that Lisa doesn't want to see her cry so she's not crying.

I gave her time to be with her daughter. I just sat on the couch while she's talking to the sleeping Lisa. After a moment, her Mom suddenly stood up and said "Lisa! You're awake!"
