Third Person POV
Peter sat with his breakfast at the Tower, picking at his eggs. He was not looking forward to today. This was the day everyone else in his class was excited to come to school. The Avengers Tower field trip and sleepover. Peter had been dreading it for weeks, ever since it had been announced. It. Was. Going. To. Suck.
"Hey kid, how're you doing?" Tony walked into the kitchen with a file of blueprints in his hand, heading to the lab early so that he could work on his new project with Banner.
"I'm good" Peter said glumly.
"You don't sound good, what's wrong." Tony came and sat down next to him, putting his work on the table. "Today we have the field trip and sleepover here. Mr Stark, I don't wanna go." (sorry, too soon?)
"Oh, I completely forgot that was today, sorry kid but I'm afraid you'll have to go. People will get suspicious if you don't come, also you can't stay around here if there's a tour going on." He was right, they had to be careful with Peter's secret identity as Spider-Man and now as Tony's adopted son who lived at the tower with him.
"Fine, I'll go. But, make sure to tell everyone to not act weird and make sure Thor stays away, he's terrible at keeping secrets." Tony laughed at that, "Sure, I'll make certain he doesn't get in the way. Do you want Happy to drive you to school?"
"Nah, its okay, I'll just walk." Peter looked up at him smiling,"Thanks Dad."
He stood up and then ruffled his son's hair before continuing on towards the lab. "I'll go see if Banner's blown anything up yet."

Peter was late. The bus was ready to leave by the time he got to the school gates. He heard a teacher yell at him to get on before marking off his name and stepping onto the bus. He walked down the aisle, he could feel his classmates' stares bore into the back of his head before he sat down in a spare seat beside Ned and MJ, putting his bag at his feet (he had needed to bring all of his things from home even though he was going back there for the sleepover, so as not to draw attention to himself).
"Dude, we're going to the Avenger's Tower for a sleepover! Do you think we'll see the real Avengers? It will be so cool!" Ned was shaking his arm enthusiastically, bouncing in his seat.
"You've already met all of them and you've visited the tower heaps of times." Peter turned to look out the window.
"I know, but this is different!"
He felt someone poke him hard in the back of the head and turned around, seeing Flash in the seat behind him.
"Hey Parker, you scared to see everyone find out how you were lying about your so called 'internship'? Is that why you were so late? You were scared everyone would see that you were just trying to get attention?"
Peter glared at him, "Shut up Flash. The internship is real!"
Before either of them could say anything else, the teachers called out for quiet from the front of the bus. Mr. Harrington stood up, "I expect you all on your best behaviour. We are very privileged to have this opportunity to look around Stark Industries. If any of you," he surveyed the bus load of children with his glare, "put a foot out of line, you will be sent home immediately. You understand?" A chorus of 'yes' filled the vehicle and the teacher sat down again just as they entered through the security checkpoint.
A team of security workers talked with the driver for a moment before letting them continue to the drop-off point. As the bus pulled away, Peter looked back to see a worker he recognised give him a wink. Ned whispered, "Do you know him?" Peter nodded, he had made sure to meet all of the security guards and people who worked around the tower. One of them even helped Peter out with his homework after school whenever everyone else was busy.
