A/N: I know this wasn't my first published one-shot but I put it at the start of the book because it happens chronologically before all of my other ones. It takes place just after Civil War. So that's that. Let's begin...

"Hey Fri!" Peter called out as he entered the building, Happy had just picked him up from school and he was looking forward to working with Tony in the labs after he had finished his home-work. There were some new things that he had thought of to add to his spider-suit.

"Hello, Peter. Mr Stark is in the conference room if you're looking for him."

"Is he in a meeting?"

"He's just finishing up now, it should be fine for you to go see him."

"Thanks!" He put his hand between the closing doors of a lift and slipped inside. He shared the space with a reporter who was scribbling in her note-book and a man in a clean, sharp, three-piece suit who glared at him. Peter ignored him, hitched his backpack higher on his shoulders and pressed the button for the conference room. Together, the three of them stood awkwardly in a relative silence, only broken by faint waiting music and the scratching of the reporter's pen. Eventually the business-man got out and then a few more levels up, the woman left too. Leaving him to suffer alone with 'We built this city' playing, until the doors slid open at his level.

He gasped at the scene before him - Steve, Bucky, Sam, Scott and Wanda sat on one side of the table with Tony, Natasha, Vision, T'Challa and Rhodey facing them. Thor and Bruce sat there as well.

"Are you Dr. Banner? THE BRUCE BANNER?!"

Bruce nodded, and looked confused as Peter rushed over to him. "Yes, I'm the Hu-"

"You're one of the greatest scientists of our time! I love your work! Your photo is at my school! Can I get a photo? To show my friend Ned? He's a big fan as well and-"

"Sure?" He said to him. While Peter was pulling out his phone and finding the camera, he looked over and whispered to Tony "What. Is. Happening?"

"What can I say, the kid likes science."

Peter snapped a few selfies with Bruce smiling awkwardly before he looked back at the assembled group of heroes and waved. "Hi, nice to meet all of you!"

"Hey, Pete. Why don't you sit down?" Tony gestured to the empty chair beside him and Peter sat. "Guys, this is Peter Parker, my intern, but most of you would know him as Spider-Man."

"Ah, the Man of Spiders, finally we meet." Thor reached out to clap Peter on the back and nearly knocked him over.

"Wait- this is the Spider-Man you were talking about?!?" Cap looked at him in shock, "He's like twelve! I was fighting a twelve year-old!"

Peter crossed his arms and looked offended, "Mr. Steve Rogers Captain America, sir, I'm 15 actually-"

"You caught Bucky's metal arm and that jetbridge thing I threw at you!"

Tony's expression darkened and he gave Steve a death-stare, "YoU tHrEw whAt At PeTeR?!?!?"

Peter put a hand on Tony's shoulder, stopping him from climbing across the table and strangling Cap right there and then. "It's okay Mr. Stark, sir, I'm sure Mr. Rogers knew that I have super-strength and that he couldn't have killed me." He stared hard at Steve to get him to understand.

"Uh, yeah of course. I wouldn't have risked the kid's life. I don't kill people, Stark."

That was the moment when Clint fell out of the ceiling with a scream, followed by a huge cloud of pigeons.

Everyone jumped back and shouted in surprise as the birds flew out of the open window, scattering feathers everywhere and dust bloomed from where Clint had fallen. Peter jumped so high that he stuck to the wall. Clint looked up at them sheepishly, his face red, coughing and wheezing. "Hey team, what's up?"

"Well, it was the ceiling but you seem to have thoroughly destroyed that..." Nat started laughing at her own joke.

"What were you even doing up in there?" Bucky looked genuinely confused.

"I was ...checking the vents."

"For what?"

"Um...pigeons, obviously."

"I thought you guys were fighting. Wasn't that what the entire civil war was about? What happened?" Peter asked, crawling back down the wall to stand next to Tony. He dusted ceiling debris off of his shirt and plucked feathers from his hair.

"We came to an agreement with the accords and found something that works for everybody. It was hard and took a lot of discussion, but we did it." Rhodey high-fived Sam, "Everyone's forgiven and now we're a happy family team!"

"Maybe, not completely happy but-" Nat punched Clint in the arm before he could continue. "Ow, Nat that was mean!"

"This is going to be so great!" he said excitedly before turning to Cap, "By the way, can I yeet your shield?"

Tony shook his head and sighed. T'Challa, having suffered all of this stuff already from Shuri, looked defeated, knowing that there was no way to stop the teens once they started.

"What does 'yeet' mean? Is this some kind of modern term I should know?"

"Ohmigosh, there's so much you've missed out on."

Tony and T'Challa looked at Steve pleadingly, "Don't encourage him."

But Peter was already on his phone and searching for his favourite ten-hour vine compilation, he smiled. "I've got so much to show you."
