Won't Give Up! (Petekao Oneshot)

Standing under the rain, Kao could feel his warm tears slip away along with those tiny droplets of water that kept hitting his face. His heart ached. His legs felt numb. His eyes burned.

"Get out of here Kao and don't come here again"

Pete's voice kept ringing inside Kao's head, making him unable to move. His head hung low, fist clenched tightly beside his leg.

Why?

"I thought I made it clear to you Kao, i don't want to talk about it anymore. So please, leave now"

"Why are you being like this Pete? Didn't you tell me that you loved me and would never hurt me? Then why are you pushing me away? Have I been such an eye sore to you now huh?" Kao's lips trembled when he said that.

Pete went silent and averted his gaze.

"Pete"

Pete didn't answer back.

"Pete" Kao's heart ached when he kept calling Pete's name, but Pete kept avoiding him. He could feel his chest tightened and tiny drops of warm tears slipped out from the corner of his eyes.

Pete was still silent.

"At least give me a valid reason for the break up" Kao started, looking at Pete with his blurry eyes, but Pete was still standing quietly with his clenched fist and kept avoiding him.

Kao chuckled sarcastically.

"So, for all this years, I have been a fool to fall for your cheap tricks huh" he muttered and chuckled again sarcastically while tears kept making it's way.

Pete didn't look at Kao. He was just standing there with his head turned in other direction.

"Now I understand, why everyone calls me stupid idiot. I really am an idiot. I really couldn't see through you" Kao laughed. "I really couldn't see through you Pete" his lips quivered when he said the last sentence. Tears kept falling mercilessly down on Kao's face.

And without saying another word, Kao ran away from there, leaving Pete standing all alone.

Maybe even heaven pitied him that's why the sky cried along with him.

Kao got totally soaked standing under the rain, but his heart never stopped burning. He still didn't get why Pete suddenly called off their relationship. Weren't they happy, like really happy together? Pete even promised him that he would never hurt him, then why?

Tears kept making it's way down on Kao's face, but the said person was in no position to wipe it away. His heart ached. His body felt numb. He was like a walking zombie because Kao couldn't see anything, couldn't feel anything. He looked like a dead doll.

Two weeks later..

It was because of Sandee's information, Kao ran like a mad person and when he reached infront of Pete's house, he couldn't stop himself anymore and went inside.

When Kao went in, his eyes widened when he saw the scene infront of him.

There, infront of him, Pete was kneeling down infront of a girl who had long black hair, beautiful skin, and she was hitting Pete. The girl kept hitting Pete mercilessly, but Pete didn't even flinch. He just kept enduring it.

"Why Pete? Why the are hell are you like this?" The girl kept shouting. Pete kept his head down. Kao could see that Pete was enduring the pain that's been laced out on him.
