FATED!! (Petekao Oneshot)

Ever since Pete was little, he never had a decent family life. His dad would often drink and come home drunk while his mother never stayed home. She would always stay outside and Pete would be left all alone in his house. He would often eat leftovers from so many days and that would lead him to the hospital.

Pete had a very hard life, so, he started guarding himself and didn't let anyone to break the wall that he had built around himself. He stayed away from others and didn't allow anyone to invade his personal space. He was like a living Zombie, alive, but dead inside. He became someone, who couldn't feel other people's feelings.

But, everything started changing when Pete started his University, and a guy named Kao in his class kept invading his personal space. He tried to ignore him, but Kao would never leave him alone and that irritated Pete even more.

'Pete, let's go to the cafeteria together'

'Pete, do you like playing Charades?'

'Pete, do you like Sprite? That's bad for your health you know'

"Pete...'

Kao was all the time Pete this and that while following him, but Pete ignored him. He would scold Kao, asking him not to follow him but Kao would never listen and kept following Pete and that irritated Pete even more.

Even their classmates started teasing them by calling them as 'Master and pet'. Kao would laugh at it but Pete would get angry. He didn't like how everyone was starting to invade his personal space and he even hated Kao for always crossing his line.

So, oneday, inside the classroom, infront of everyone, Pete grabbed Kao's collar and slammed him against the wall, making Kao's eyes wide in shock. He could see Pete's angry face, and for the first time, Kao felt scared of Pete.

When Pete realised what he was doing, he snapped himself out and looked at Kao who was equally looking back at him with his blank expression.

The whole classroom went pin drop silence.

Pete didn't know why but the look in Kao's eyes made his heart skip a beat. He gently removed his hand, and as soon as Pete retreated his hand, Kao touched his neck and bowed 90 degree to Pete, startling the other.

"I'm really sorry for everything. I'm sorry" Kao apologised and ran out of the classroom, leaving behind a stunned looking Pete.

Next day, Pete came to the university and sat down on his seat, but his eyes kept darting towards Kao's seat which was empty. He looked surprised because Kao would never bunk his classes even if he was sick. But today, he was absent and that literally surprised Pete.

Pete knew it was harsh of him to lace out on Kao like this, because it wasn't his fault to begin with. He was only trying to be friend Pete, but Pete took his frustration out on Kao instead. Thinking about that made Pete feel somewhat guilty.

He wanted to apologise, but the said person was no where to be seen. It was already 5 days now and Kao was still absent from the university. Frustrated, Pete walked towards one of his classmates that was standing and talking to another guy. He didn't want to talk, but he had no other option, since he needed information about Kao.

"Hey" Pete called.

The guy who was talking, turned around and looked surprised when he saw Pete standing infront of him and he could only croak out.. "Yes?"

Pete didn't want to talk anymore, but he knew if needed Kao's information, he had to do it, so, he chucked down his 'I don't care' attitude and asked the other.. "Do you know Kao's address?".
