BACK OFF!! (Petekao Oneshot)

A/N: I think I'll slow down my updates for a bit. I have been updating continuously for the past 2 days nonstop lol 😅

Going for hiking wasn't a cup of coffee for Kao, because he never liked such kinds of outdoor activities. It always drained his energy and his body can't take such pressures. Kao always preferred indoor activities. But, since everyone was excited about the trip, only guys trip, he couldn't say no and had to tag along with everyone.

After walking for almost an hour, Kao was so tired, so he decided to sit down for a while. Even the other hikers did the same and rested for the time being. Kao felt thirsty, so he looked to the side of his bag for his water bottle but he couldn't find it. "Huh, where did it go? I just kept it here" He checked it again, but he couldn't find it. Kao was damn sure that he had put it on the side pocket of his traveler's bag.

Kao heaved an exhausted sigh and looked around. He could see his few friends and some other hikers were sitting under the tree and resting. Everyone was drinking from their own water bottle, but then suddenly, Kao's eyes landed on a certain figure and the bottle on his hand.

Fck? Kao recognised it. It was his water bottle and Pete was drinking from it.

Kao's brain exploded and he stood up almost immediately and walked towards Pete, who was chatting with other hikers now.

"Ai'Pete..." Kao called almost loudly, making everyone to turn around to look at him and even Pete did.

Pete could see that Kao was walking towards his side grumpily and once he reached, the other snatched the water bottle from Pete's hand and glared. "This is my water bottle you asshole" he cursed.

For a second, Pete just kept blinking his eyes and looked at his empty hand and then back at Kao. "Your water bottle?" Pete raised his brows curiously.

Kao equally raised his brows and replied "Yes, my water bottle".

Pete gently nodded as if saying 'yeah yeah' and grinned at Kao. "Ok, so if this is your water bottle, then prove it to me" he challenged him.

Kao's jaw almost dropped hearing that. "Huh? Why should i prove it to you about my bottle? It's mine, and that's it" he replied, rolling his eyes.

Pete folded his arms and kept looking at Kao as if saying *you chickened out?* through his expressions, and When Kao saw that, he glared back.

"So you want proof huh? Ok, I'll show you, just wait" Kao accepted the challenge and looked for his initials 'K' carved onto the side of his water bottle, but Kao couldn't see it.

He looked all over for it but still, he couldn't find it. Kao blinked his eyes in confusion. Where did it go? He thought.

"So, found your proof huh?" Pete asked, still staring at Kao while grinning.

Kao rolled his eyes and handed back the water bottle to Pete. It wasn't his bottle after all, because, his water bottle had initials of his name carved on it. He personally did it, but it wasn't in this bottle.

"I think I got mistaken. Your bottle looked just like mine, so I thought...."

"So, you thought that i have taken your water bottle without your permission, hmm?" Pete finished it for him.

Kao went silent. He didn't look at Pete who had a sly grin on his face. Seeing the other being awkwardly silent, Pete decided to share his water with Kao and before he could offer it, a sudden voice interrupted him.

"Hey, If you want, you can drink it from mine".

It was a tall, handsome looking guy, sitting with other hikers under the tree shades and was looking and smiling at Kao. Pete's jaw clenched seeing that and he immediately looked at Kao, who was equally smiling back at the other.
