I'm Always Here!! (Final)

Pete finally broke open the door and both him and Kao's mother went inside, only to find their eyes go wide in horror...

Everything in Kao's room were upside down. Mirrors broken, books scattered everywhere, clothes lying here and there, study chair thrown to the other side, the whole room was a total mess. Kao's mother placed her hand over her mouth and looked at the surroundings in horror. She looked so shocked that she couldn't even move.

Pete somehow reacted even though he was shocked himself, but the first thing that came into his mind was..  Where's Kao? And then, he could hear someone sobbing from the bathroom. Pete hurriedly ran towards the bathroom and as he stood near the door and looked inside, he saw Kao sitting at the corner, sobbing hard with his hand covering his face.

Pete's heart broke when he saw that. Kao looked so miserable. He immediately walked inside and saw some white pills scattered all over the floor. Pete didn't think much about it because he had to tend Kao first. Once Pete reached, he engulfed Kao in tight hug, making Kao to look up in shock. His eyes wet from tears. 

"Stupid, what do you think you're doing huh?" Pete mumbled, as he kept hugging Kao tightly. Kao shut his eyes close and hugged back Pete equally tight. He cried even harder.

Kao's mother stood by the door and watched the two boys hugging eachother, silently. She wiped her tears because she knew that she had done the right thing by calling Pete over here. Only this boy can understand Kao better than anyone else. Only he could comfort him. Kao's mother left the two boys alone and walked out of the room. She trusted Pete and knows that, only he can solve whatever his son was going through.

Kao kept hugging Pete. Pete placed a gentle kiss at the side of Kao's head before pulling away to look at Kao's red, swollen teary eyes.

Kao looked really miserable and Pete couldn't help himself and pulled Kao in for another tight hug. Kao sniffed on Pete's shoulder.

After few minutes..

Pete didn't say anything and just helped Kao to stand up and took him towards the bed and made him sit down. He then kneeled infront of Kao and looked at him gently while rubbing his hands.

Pete didn't want to question Kao directly because he knew that the other needed some time to cope up with the situation. He knew something wasn't right whenever he saw Kao zoning out suddenly in middle of something. Pete always asked him what was wrong, but Kao never answered him.

And now, it came to this. 

Pete could see Kao had somehow calmed down, so he gently caressed his face, making Kao to look at him with his red, swollen eyes. There was some bruises on Kao's hand but it wasn't that deep. Maybe, it was because of what he did to the whole room?

Once, Kao looked relaxed, Pete took it as a chance to ask Kao about whatever happened. He gently caressed Kao's hand and looked at him in the eye. "Are you ready to talk now?" He asked carefully, because Pete didn't want Kao to lose his composure again.

Kao nodded.

Pete waited for him to speak.

Kao bit his lower lip as his emotions started to overwhelm and he hugged Pete again. Pete understood and let Kao stay like that. And once Kao gained his composure, he pulled away from the hug and looked at Pete, silently.

Pete knew right away that Kao was now ready to talk and he gently squeezed his hands, as if saying, don't worry, I'm right here beside you.

Kao closed his eyes and then opened it again to look at Pete who was still silently encouraging him.
