Disappeared!! (Petekao Oneshot)

It was new year eves morning and Kao was still asleep, but his sleep broke off when he heard birds chirping outside the window. He gently opened his eyes and saw that the window was open and gentle breeze was blowing outside. A tiny smile appeared on Kao's lips and he closed his eyes again.

Both Kao and Pete were in Phuket to celebrate there new year's eve. They wanted to spend their time together, so they came here and stayed in a rented villa.

Kao opened his eyes again and look towards his side only to find Pete missing from the bed. Kao looked confused and sat himself up. "Where did he do?" He thought and slid out of the bed.

"Pete, are you in there?" Kao asked, as he stood infront of the bathroom, but no one answered back.

Kao looked even more confused. Where could Pete go in such early morning? He thought and walked out of the bedroom and went to their attached lounge room, but Pete was not there as well.

It was seven in the morning and Pete was no where to be found. He would never go anywhere without telling Kao.

Kao almost looked inside whole of the villa but Pete was still nowhere to be found. He almost started to panic because it felt like as if Pete had suddenly disappeared in thin air.

Kao went back to the room, grabbed his phone and started dialling Pete's number, but the other didn't picked it up. He tried again, but still, no response.

Kao somehow looked worried now. He kept calling Pete, but the other still wasn't answering his phone.

Suddenly, so many unnecessary thoughts started to pop in Kao's head. 'What if something bad had happened to Pete? What if he was in some trouble? What if he got kidnapped? So many things kept getting in Kao's head and he got even more worried.

He instantly got himself ready, took his long over coat, his wallet and hurriedly went out of the villa to look for Pete.

While walking on the cold street, Kao kept looking around if he could see Pete somewhere, but didn't see him. He kept dialling Pete's number but the other still didn't picked it up. Kao looked even more worried and he dialled Sandee's number.

Within four rings, Sandee answered her phone with a sleepy voice but she immediately sobered up when she heard Kao's panicked voice.

"Hey Kao, what's wrong? Why do you sound so panicked?".

"Pete's missing San" Kao answered almost immediately.

"Missing? What are you talking about?" Sandee asked, sounding confused.

Kao told everything to Sandee about how Pete was not in the villa where they had booked it for 5 nights.

"Kao, calm down ok. Don't worry. I think Pete must have gone out for jogging, he will definitely return back" Sandee was trying to calm Kao down, but the other was still worried.

It was already 4 hours when Kao returned back to the villa. He couldn't find Pete anywhere. He became even more worried and tears began to pool in his eyes. Kao had never felt so much insecured like this before. Pete had never left him alone like this and gone somewhere without telling him.

Suddenly, New years day felt so lonely. It was supposed to be a new start for both Kao and Pete, but..

Kao wiped away the tears from the back of hands and pulled out the villa key and tried to open the door, but to his surprise, the door was already unlocked.
