Sparkles of light burning my skin
The candle flame born within
Fragile and delicate, so easy to vanish
Powerfully grows with intends to punish
Pure was once as white as  snow
Your touch set the ice aflame and made it glow
Red is dripping everywhere I see
Your flame leaving behind a dead sea
Full of tears and sorrow it is
Longing, envy and obsession flowing in the breeze
The heat so strong, my candle is melting
My flame of logic no longer standing

And as it's trembling light finally came to die
I left to it a murmured goodbye

No i won't miss you, i thought to myself
I no longer need you, I am putting you back in the shelf

To love i surrender, the red that burns alive
Soon brought my soul, wrapped in chains of light.

A red light, absorbing all of me
And without even realizing, i became the dead sea

Cause fire may be beautiful and deeply desired
But it is also deadly and it one day expires.

Once the flames are gone only ashes are left behind
And as my heart broke, i pulled out from the shelf my mind

Forgiveness i asked for letting it die
It's flame soon greeted me again as it told me that it won't lie.
