Under the layers of white cotton, of mist and smoke, deep at the bottom

In the depths of the dark waters,

there lived a beauty that hearts shattered.

Her attire the whole sea,

pearls and corals and everything else that exists in thee.

Between her fingers water foam, under her tail fish roam

Her hair danced along with the waves,

as she swims up and up and at shore she lays

No warmth was waiting for her up there,

no flares shining nor any rays anywhere.

The sky was empty of the sun

and cold was underneath her touch the sand.

A white veil of fog had fallen everywhere her eyes could see, a chilling feeling welcoming her to winter's embrace, a haunting silence that had engulfed the place.

Yet she feared not. She left her soft lips tag upwards and smiled a lot,

before diving in the waters again, playing at the surface under the fog's safe curtain.

Her joyful laughter filled the air, the song coming out of her singing lips flowing everywhere.

A sound strong enough to fill the skies, to pierce through silence and the thick fog's attire

Far away enough to travel, souls of men to unravel.

As the sound of her song reached their ears, their eyes got filled with tears,

longing and desire getting born in their hearts, enchanted by the voice of art.

She kept swimming and laughing, splashing in the waters, happiness and joy that blinded her to hear the chatters

Whispers of men as their eyes had taken sight of her, her sweet song and her appearance that had caused quite a stir

A feeling of admiration at first, that didn't take long to get corrupted,

seeking for them to get a touch upon her, they fell from the cliff they were at and into the deep sea uninterrupted.

They lost their lives under her beautiful voice, blinded by a lovely spell, they made their choice.

And under the fog their bodies got buried, by the sea they gently got carried,

down and down at the end of the waters, where they would have non-unsolved matters.

And her song went on and on, loving her time on the shore, unbothered by death that she could not see, the place was cold either way, above the sea.

There was no mourning in her ears, no sight of sad bitter tears.

All it was, was her and her song, the sweetest lullaby to ever come along,

The most loving web, you would wish to fall into,

the most happy death that could ever lure you

The most beautiful murderer who would never leave a clue

cause beauty can sure be deadly, how they wish they knew.
