The day I became a mere mortal, I was condemned by everyone for choosing something I believed in. I was shunned by all the clans. No one believed in my ability.

I was christened with various names, some still it pains.

You were the only one who stood by my side, tried to reason with me. I still chose dark over light. You still waited. Why? What am I to you?

When I left you waiting in that pouring rain, you thought I didn't notice. I did. I saw you cry. I wanted to wipe them away, but alas, I knew it was a lost cause. Being with me, you would be berated.

Did you know Lan Zhan, it's your calmness that center's me. It's your thoughtfulness, that calms me. It's your tenderness, that makes me seek you, only.

Lan Zhan, oh Lan Zhan, till the end of time, your name would be fervor in my lips.
