Wang Yibo's POV:

I watch Wei enter the bathroom and smile. He's back, my Wei's back. Looking at the clock, I balk. It's 8am. I quickly get up and go back to my room, freshen up and go downstairs to meet the rest. I am sure they would be restless. As anticipated, they all get up when they see me enter the main hall.

"Is he ..." Alden trails off, it's clear he has been crying. His eyes are red and puffy. I pat his shoulders and address everyone "He's alright, may not be completely, but he remembered me" I look at all of them trying to reassure them.

"Can we meet him?" Yong's concern is absolutely overwhelming. "He's gone to the washroom to freshen up, I'll go and get him" I turn to look at my brother and he nods. You sure he is alright? I hope so.

With that I leave and enter Wei's room but he isn't there.

"Wei?" I call out and receive no answer. I turn to leave and I see the washroom door is closed. I can hear someone the other side. "Wei" I hear muffled noise. I knock and I am about to push the door, when it opens and he grins "Lan Zhan" he swoops near me "Can't stay away from your man even for a minute?" he laughs.

Oh Wei, how have I yearned to listen to your this laughter.

Without thinking, I push him against the wall opposite and tug his head to kiss him on his lips.

"I missed your laugh" I whisper placing my head on his shoulder, inhaling his scent I smell faint rose. I smile. So you.

His hands wrap around me and he gently Caresses my head "I missed everything about you" he kisses the side of my head "I am sorry, I couldn't remember you, though I felt the most comfortable with you" his fingers play with my tresses "I have so many things to ask you Lan Zhan, I have so many things to tell you" he lifts my head and gives me the most softest kiss "In this lifetime, this Yiling Patriarch, will definitely woo Hanguang Jun" he grins.

I grunt.

"Come on, we need to go down, everyone are waiting for us" I place my hand in his and we walk towards the main hall.

Xiao Zhan's POV:

As I watch him pull me, my heart aches with every step. Is it possible for me to love you more? Lan Zhan, let's elope somewhere. I smirk at that.

"Look at that, if he can grin, he must be absolutely fine" I hear an accusing Song coming and standing in front of me.

I am about to retort but I suddenly freeze.
"Zhan Zhan?" He questions. Concern etched on his face.

"No... Can't be" I rasp. Memories invade me again. Pulled back to the past, I remember meeting a sweet little kid, teaching him techniques of archery. Him protecting me. Him, his sister transferring my golden core. I clutch my heart. The pain.

Wen clan. Him being dead. Me resurrecting him. Naming him the Ghost General.

"Wen Ning" I cough and his hand clutches my shoulders. I open my eyes to find his on mine. A gentle smile on his face and a shy nod. "it's you" I pull him to me and I hug the life out of him. Pun unintended.

"H...how?" I ask. "Let's just say it was pure coincidence that I found you, but there is still one more person you need to meet" he turns and I come face to face with the one soul who has always managed to rescue me, back then and even now.

He stands in front of me and caresses my cheeks, wiping my tears, he smiles. That smile. "Long time, Wei". Unable to control my tears, I hug him.

Jiang Fengmian.

"Uncle" I whisper and Yong laughs.

"Now now, you can't call me that, I am just an year older than you" he caresses my hair.

I look up and smile at him. He pats my shoulders and we turn around, Xi Chen smiling at us and Alden coming for another hug.

Family.

"I am sure now that you both have met him, you all must be hungry, shall we proceed towards our breakfast? Xi Chen gestures towards the dining room.

Smiling at me Unc... I mean Yong and Alden follow Xin Chen.

Yibo is about to leave when I pull him towards me, quickly look around and trap him with my arms around him. Flushed he looks at me with what now I could say would be a smile "Did you know who they were?".

He nods "I had an idea but never asked them".

"Why?"

He shrugs "I wanted them to tell you or me on their own" he points towards the dining room "Shall we?"
 
Smart ass. I kiss him quickly and we join our family for our breakfast.
