Xiao Zhan's POV:
I feel soft fingers caressing my hair and I mewel. Yup, me Yiling Patriarch, actually mewled. "I scared you, didn't I?" the hand stops caressing. I open one eye and look at him.
Eyes. They're so similar. How is it possible? Same person. Two timeline.
"Yes you did" his eyes are filled with agony.
I shift my head from his lap onto the pillow and I tug him to sleep next to me. Pulling him into my arms, I rest my chin above his head. I feel his breath at the nape of my neck.
"How long was I out?"
"Few hours"
"Last time?"
"A day"
I don't say anything. I just enjoy the tranquility of our time.
"You scared me" his voice breaks my reverie and I look down. His eyes... Don't look at me like that Lan Zhan, I...
"I am sorry" I whisper and kiss him softly.
"Why did you play?"
"When we were asleep, I heard someone murmur my name. I thought it was you, but you were asleep. Something made me go down there and that's when I saw Chenqing. I did not realise, if I play, I'd meet you there".
His eyes widen "What?"
"Yes, I met Lan Zhan. Behind the Gusu mountain. Lan Zhan was there."
"What did he say?" His body shakes a little.
I look down and hug him tightly "I love you Wei" as I say, he choruses with me and I immediately look into his eyes.
"And you said 'I loved you too'" he looks up.
"H...what? How did you know?" I question.
"Because I saw the dream. I think it's a dream. I saw you too Wei. I was Lan Zhan" he whispers.
"What's happening, Yibo?"
"I don't know"
I hug him even more tightly, if that's possible.
"You were bleeding" he clutches my shirt.
I nod.
"Let's sleep Angel. We'll think about everything tomorrow" I kiss his head, tuck us both under the blanket and sleep. Or atleast try to.

Wang Yibo's POV:
I watch him sleep. He looks so peaceful. I am afraid to even leave him alone, scared that the next time, I won't see him again. Scared to one day find him in pool of his own blood and no amount of me calling his name, he's going to wake up with a grin. That no amount of waiting for him, after this, I'd never find him again.
Wei, please don't leave me again. Please. I won't be able to stand being separated from you. If... If you plan to leave, take me with you. Don't leave me here again.
I am in eternal purgatory.
