Spending the whole day with my family has been something I always missed. Back then everyone whom I loved, left me, except one. This is my second chance and I am going to cherish every moment.
Walking into my bedroom, I stop mid way when I see Yibo standing by the window with his hands behind his back.
His back is to me and the moonlight beautifully glows around him. Slowly walking towards him, I snake my arms around him and place my chin on his shoulder "You're here"
"Hm"
"Why?"
"Do I need a reason?"
"No, you never need a reason to be in my room and you know that"
"Hm"
I grin against his skin "you haven't changed at all. Always monosyllabic"
"Hm" I can feel his smile "I want to spend the night here" he turns to me "everynight. You want to court me you can, but I will spend everynight and day with you and you only" he kisses my cheeks 'every day means every day'he whispers.
I cough. I nod. He takes my hand and we climb onto the bed and under the covers. He pulls me into his embrace and we sleep.
I know for sure I have a smile on my face.

I open my eyes. I look at Yibo beside me and find him sleeping. So who the hell whispered my name.
Unable to sleep, I slowly move away from him and I walk out of our bedroom. Yes ours. Might as well be.
As I walk around I notice the basement. Curious to know what's in there, I reach the bottom and open the door.
Mesmerized by the sheer opulance of the room, it's bathed in complete moonlight. I look around and my gaze fixes on... Chenqing.
I pick it up carefully and smile longingly How have you been? Has been quite a long time, hasn't it? I see the Lan Clan has taken good care of you.
Do you want me to play you? You must have waited loyally for me, haven't you?
I bring the Chenqing to my lips and blow softly into it. Closing my eyes, I play my Lan Zhan's song.

"Wei" I hear a soft voice calling me. I open my eyes and find myself in the ancient time, on the mountain behind Cloud Recess.
I look at the man standing beside me on the edge of the mountain, and looking right at me. The stars above shine on his head band, giving him a halo look. The soft wind caresses his long tresses and his eyes are filled with anguish.
"Wei" he repeats.
"Lan Zhan" I whisper. You haven't changed.
A lone rouge tear falls unceremoniously from his eyes. I raise my fingers and wipe his tear away. Closing his eyes, he turns his head slightly to my knuckles.
"Lan Zhan" I whisper and he slowly looks at me. "I am sorry". His eyes never leave mine and it's an ocean of emotions. "I am so sorry" I plead.
"I have wronged you, my Lan Zhan" I look into his eyes "I have so wronged you."
"Say something Lan Zhan" I implore him but he doesn't say anything, just gazes adoringly at me. Unable to take his quietness, I spill everything I wanted to say "I should have listened to you, I should never have dragged you with me, Lan Zhan. I just wanted to help everyone to needed my help. Wasn't that the reason we became cultivators" I smile sadly "Look what that did to us?" I look at him "It made me loose my sanity and you, your eternity".
Unable to look at him I turn away from him, when he catches my wrist "Wei" he repeats. I look at him and wait.
"I love you" he stands close to me. He closes his eyes and places his forehead against mine "I have always loved you".
"I loved you too, my Lan Zhan" I look at him and gasp, when I find him smiling. His smile outshines that of the moon's light.
Before I could say anything more, I am pulled out of the vortex.
"Wei, wake up" I hear a warm voice. --- Wang Yibo's POV:
I wake up to the sound of Chenqing. I bolt from the bed and run towards the sound.
"Wei!" I yell as he plays the Chenqing, his nose and mouth is bleeding. Suddenly he stops and is about to fall when I catch him.
"Wei, wake up" I plead "Please wake up".
"Lan Zhan" he opens his eyes and then blacks out.
--- Ah sorry, I know it's a cliffhanger. But, bare with me, let's just enjoy the moment of Lan Zhan meeting our Wei Ying.
Let's cheer more loudly for these guys.
