"Well, let me explain. It's a long story."

              And at that very moment a small brown hare dashed into the undergrowth near a hollowed tree.

                Little did they know the very critter they spoke of was listening along as they passed a dried river that had little holes lining the clay of its stony bed. This hare was no ordinary bunny rabbit either, large and muscular with tawny fur and golden eyes.

But most strikingly were its antlers.

Yes you read that correctly, Antlers.

            Antlers roughly the color and dimpled like a truffle or morrel mushrooms, and made with not bone but rather a hardened sort of skin or callus not unlike a dogs paw pads. This is our hero of our dynamic dues story. 

                                                                            His name was cottonwood.
