Deeper down in the burrow Cottonwood stops at a crossroads as the original tunnel now plits into three forks both displaying new landmarks to help the other warren members find their way around.
Cottonwood lets out an enthusiatic hum.
"Well, you've been very busy with the gals huh?"
Snowfoot chuckles softly before steping ahead of him facing down a path marked by shiny gravel pieces.
"We sure have. My mother's nest is down here, we wanted to make a larger hollow for the healers."
Cottonwood takes one last look around before following behind her.
"I know I've been gone for a while but, I have to ask, how is our little girl doing."
Facing away from him Snowfoot smiles, "Hopps is fine, she's a little small but she's as...okay as sge could be I guess."
Cottonwood nods and looks to the side stopping to scratch his cheek with his forepaw before continuing.
"I know it's hard to talk about. I know this was not a good nesting season for any of us this year. Dustcloud is lucky to be blessed by the 'Doe Of Spring' to have his sons."
Snow let's out a sigh.
"I just hope our daughter lives to see summer."
Cottonwood stops "That's not what I-"
Snow stops and turns at him with a kind gaze, "I know what you meant."
She points her muzzle past roots that hand over a hollow opening.
"My mothers in there, wish you luck Cotton." And with that she returns back down the tunnel.
