(On Hiatus) The Conduit On Remnant (Infamous X Rwby)

Chapter One

"Where am I?" Cole asked. Cole was in the tower with Ozpin, still figuring out where he is. It's like that he appeared in another world. He knew damn sure that he should be dead. Many questions are going through his head. "Well, you're at Beacon Academy." Cole never heard of that name. He knows that his world never had academies. Far from it.

"So tell me, how did you appear in the Emerald Forest?" Cole just looked at Ozpin with an uncertain look on his face. "I don't know. The last thing I remembered was dying and that was it." Cole answered. "And how did you learn to do this?" Ozpin asked as he showed Cole take on Grimm with his Amp that was emitting electricity. "Self-taught," Cole replied.

"I see, and what about this?" He shows Cole a video of him emitting electricity from his hand, firing bolts and explosions at a swarm of Grimm. "That was my power." Ozpin was curios on what Cole was capable of. "Was this your semblance?" Ozpin asked. That's what Cole was confused the most, what was semblance. "Um, no. I don't know what semblance is." Ozpin looked surprised at Cole's response.

"I need to know, are there people that have superpowers called Conduits?" Cole asked, which made Ozpin think for a bit. "No, there's no such thing as Conduits in our society."

"I must know, what world were you from?" Ozpin asked. "Earth, that's our worlds name." It all made sense to Ozpin. Cole never was from Remnant. He was from another world. "Then that answers all of my questions. You aren't from Remnant." Ozpin said. "I'm curious, what was your world like and your backstory." Cole was a bit sketchy about this, not knowing if he should tell him or not. He just met this person. But if's not on Earth anymore, then what's there to hide? He made up his mind decides to tell Ozpin.

"Earth is similar to your world. It has nature, people, and advanced technology. Everything was at peace. There were no creatures like those Grimm. Soon, it all went downhill. People with powers called Conduits started appearing where I lived. It was chaos that everyone treated Conduits as the monsters because they emitted powers that no one knew. It was all because of me. I started everything."

"I had a job and worked as a bike courier. I was someone you never noticed, just a guy delivering packages to folks you'd never know. Then one day . . . a package found me. It was a device called a Ray Sphere that blew up a large area of the city. Thousands of people died. And at the center, was me. Alive, but changed. I was gifted powers."

Cole continued to explain more about Conduits, the Ray Field, and who was responsible for it. Ozpin was taken aback by this. He then continued to explain why he was given powers for, his adventure and fights at New Marris with the Militia. The encounter with Bertrand and his purpose. What they did to Kuo.

He was surprised and disgusted on how the Militia treated Conduits and how they turn people into monsters. The meet between Cole and John. John's method of saving people does work but at the cost of other lives. Cole didn't want any shortcuts to make up the mistakes he made. He wanted to finish what he started. The final battle with the Beast, and his last moments before using the RFI to save millions of lives. Ozpin was very pleased with the choices Cole made. He couldn't help but smile. Cole was a true hero.

"It's clear to me that you are a good person Cole. Giving up your life to save other millions of peoples lives." Ozpin said. "As a return, I'll tell you everything you need to know about Remnant."

Ozpin explained to Cole everything about Remnant, the people, aura, Grimm, and semblance. He also went on to explain about dust and its use which made Cole intrigued about it. What Cole didn't like the most was how the Faunus were being treated. It reminded him of how Conduits were treated. After an hour of explanation, Ozpin made an offer.

"Would you like to join my academy? You'll have a place to stay and also be able to train." Cole gave a thought about it. He already finished his goal of saving everyone. Does he want to keep fighting or retire? He powers were given for a purpose. For good in the world. If he can do in his world than he can do good in this world.
