Eleven

Hydra will pay...

I stood with my hands cuffed behind my back. Idiots, flimsy cuffs won't last five minutes if I actually tried to get them off.

The door opened and I'm marched inside. There she is. The queen bitch herself. "Hello Olive" her face twisted into a cruel smile, "huh, you're just as ugly in person as you are on the screen" I told her, nice one Olive, totally wasn't a middle school insult. Her smile didn't fade but I can see that I've pissed her off. "Where's your friend? We saw someone come in through the front door and I'm assuming that it's the same person who made that explosion. Where are they?" Don't give nothing away. I shrugged, keeping my face neutral, "oh Olive, don't be like this. I don't want to resort to...extreme measures" I shrugged again.

One of the guards pulled out a taser and held it up to me. "Don't know what you're talking about" I told her, she flicked her hand and the guards jabbed me in the side with the taser. I grunted at the pain but I kept my composure. He pulled the taser away from my side, Ophelia chuckled to herself, what a bitch, "strong one, aren't ya?" "well, you would know all about that, wouldn't you?" I smirked, oh how I do love getting under people's skin. She pulled that sweet smile, you know the one the bullies have in those high school films? where they scrunch up all their face and the shoulder's go up?  I'm not sure if that makes sense but it does to me so shut up. "I don't know what you're talking about" oh, so she's mocking me now? two can play at that game. "oh Ophelia, don't be like this" I leaned forward, "I don't want to resort to...extreme measures" I straightened up and flicked my hair off my shoulder, "you're cute" "sweetie, I'm adorable" I retorted.

Ophelia chuckled, "you still haven't answered my question" "you haven't answered mine" "you're right, I know the theory behind your strength, what you can do, and what you could do" Ophelia stood up and began walking towards me. "Olive" her voice was soft and gentle, she's trying to manipulate me, nice try, "you've been through so much, you've seen so much death, you've felt so much pain. No child should go through what you did" I force tears to well up in my eyes and fall down my cheeks, "It's just been so hard" if this spy thing flops I know I can fall into an acting career. Ophelia wipes a tear away, "I know my dear. I want to help you, I can make the pain all go away. Join me, I can make you stronger. Together you and I will make the world pay for what it has done to us" I looked her dead in the eyes, "what about you?" I stopped the tears, "excuse me?" "you made me remember? You are the cause of my suffering. Will you pay?" my voice was low and venomous, I want her to tremble at my words.

I spit in her face, Ophelia jumped back in surprise. I clenched my fists and pulled them away from each other, snapping the chains of my cuffs. I threw a punch to guy on my left, he fell to the floor. The guy on my right jabbed at me with his taser but I dodged and yanked it out of his hands. While he was stunned, I stuck the taser to his side, he squirmed in pain. The guards positioned at the doors ran up to me, one tried to hit me with the butt of his gun. I grabbed his head and brought my knee, they collided and he hit the floor. I jumped up to the other guard, swinging my legs around his neck and pulling him to the floor.  I lunged at Ophelia as she began pulling out her gun. I pinned her to the floor, "will you pay?! I'm you're failure! I'm you're problem, now deal with the consequences!" she kneed me in the stomach and I rolled to the side.

We both stood up, glaring daggers at each other. "Failure? is that what you think you are? You're a success" wait? what? "in-humane strength and speed, enhanced senses. Not only that but you are the wailing woman. You can hear the dead, you posses a scream so loud it can shatter the human brain" she laughed, "did you really think you were a failure?" "you ruined my life" I spat out. "And you ruined mine! If you hadn't destroyed the last of your serum and all the research! I could've cleansed the world! I wanted to fix everything, I was so close and you ruined it all! Ever since the day you were born you've been a pain in my side" "deal with it" she charged at me. I side-stepped and she ran right past me. Idiot. I Jumped at her, I clung to her back and wrapped my arms around her neck. She screamed as she tried to throw me off, but I wasn't letting go.
