Dilan's POV

To say I was nervous, scared to death would be an understatement. I was more than that. I was technically freaking out and Claire did nothing to help. In fact, she made me nervous and freaked out. She was adding gasoline to my burning tension all over me. Maybe it was my fault as I had never been that social. I always hated that part of being me, where I would have to talk to people. But in my defense, people didn't talk to me. There were so many reasons I didn't want to go but there was just this one reason that overpowered the one millions that I had to go, Cleopatra.

I was looking for an outfit to wear to the party but since I was clueless in that sector, I had to ask Claire for some little help. The only problem was little to her was too much for me. And she was going crazy with the whole outfit thing. Almost all of my clothes had been removed from the wardrobe and we're either on the bed or the floor.

"I just want something simple," I told her and she glared at me.

"You really need to change your wardrobe," she told me but to me, the wardrobe was perfect. I was just a t-shirt and jeans guy and made no effort to make me look fashionable.

"So, what should I wear?!" I asked her after a while. She reached out for a polo shirt that I am sure I never wore and some jeans. She then pointed at a pair of my converse shoes and a hoody before rushing out of the room. She hadn't prepared herself and I was sure she would take an hour or so to do that. The good thing was that we had time until Kelvin and Cleopatra would come for us. The bad thing was my aunt would be back from the hospital.

After I had showered and dressed, I went to keep myself busy with the play station. It didn't take long for the door to open and my aunt to walk in with her blue uniform and a tired expression on her face. Still, when she saw me, her face brightened and a smile crept on her face.

"How is my triple D?!" She asked me excitedly before hugging me.

"I am fine," I said as I hugged her back.

"Do I smell cologne?!" She said still hugging me which I was sure she was sniffing me.

"Yes," I answered and she released me before looking straight at me.

"For once, you seem to have given a thought on your choice of clothes," she noted before she gave me her motherly stare. Suddenly, a smile appeared on her face.

"Who is the girl?!" She asked excitedly. That was the reason I didn't want her to find me.

Still, when she asked me that question, I blushed a little confirming her question. I had just thought of Cleopatra and the effect that name had on me was still a mystery. I had just met the girl, I thought to myself.

"So it's a girl!" She said excitedly before sitting next to me.

"I need details," she said and I glared at her. I wasn't doing that.

"No, am not giving you details and how sure are you it's a girl?!" I asked her but she pressed further.

"So it's a boy?!" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Nooooo, it's a girl," I said defensively and realized I had fallen into her trap.

"So, details or you want me to extract them from Claire?!" She threatened which was actually worse. That's why I did the only thing better than me and Cleopatra, Claire and Kelvin.

"Claire likes a guy, Kelvin Black," I said and that's when I saw her expression change.

"Wow, you mean the Kelvin Kelvin?!" She asked still trying to comprehend what I had told her. Our town was quite small so everyone knew everyone. It was obvious my aunt had heard about Kelvin's return.
