Shinsou looked to his side to see Michiyo running alongside him. Aizawa told him that he should focus on building stamina and not go into sparring unless he was there to supervise them. Shinsou was impressed because Michiyo was running with him without any signs of complaint.
'This girl...when we first trained together, she made a lot of mistakes but she's improving.'
When the two of them turned a corner, a car was driving out of control and would have crashed into the two of them. However, Michiyo used her Quirk and she created a wall made out diamonds to stop the car from crashing into them.
Shinsou slowly turned to look at her.
"Phew! That was close...! I wonder if the driver is okay?"
'Her reaction time has increased immensely. And how she formed the diamond wall that's standing on the height of two cars stacked above one another is also amazing. This girl...'
The driver of the car rushed out and way behind his car were two police officers trying to catch up to him.
"Hold up, you thief! Get back here!"
"As if I'd come to you quietly!" The thief was making a run for it! He abandoned the goods that were in the back seats of the car!
"Oi, what about the goods?!" Shinsou shouted at him.
"Leaving it of course-?!" Before the thief knew it, he was frozen and his eyes were in daze because he was brainwashed on the spot.
Shinsou then noticed the smell of gasoline from the car that could have crashed into them. He noticed gasoline was dripping out of the car.
"Michiyo!"
"Huh?"
"Cover that car with diamonds! Hurry!"
Michiyo used her Quirk again! A diamond dome formed and trapped the car within! A loud ear-piercing explosion could be heard, sending people to scream and take cover for their dear lives because they thought parts of the car will be shot out into the air and land on them!
When people realized it was Michiyo and Shinsou who protected them, everyone cheered for them and showered them with praise.
"Diamonds are rated 10 out of 10 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness. It's so hard that only another diamond can lay a scratch on a diamond." Shinsou explained to Michiyo as he watched the police officers cuff the criminal, who had stolen goods from a factory.
Police cars began to gather and the head of the police officers wanted to speak to Shinsou and Michiyo.
"Usually I would reprimand children who decided to use their Quirk in public and pretend to be Heroes themselves but I have to admit you two did the right thing at the right time by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I will let you two off just this once." Hakanai Shiki said to both Michiyo and Shinsou.
Michiyo apologized but she still smiled; Shinsou and her were just like Heroes for that short moment.
"Usually we wouldn't let kids use their Quirks and be Heroes to assist us, but if it weren't for you two, this would have gone from bad to worse. You have our thanks but don't do it next time. You may use your Quirk to save your own life, but never go beyond that, leave the villain catching to Pro Heroes or the police, got it?" Shiki said to both Shinsou and Michiyo, making sure they got it and won't jump into action after they had protected themselves from possible death.
When the police started to leave, Michiyo looked at Shinsou. "Shinsou?"
Shinsou had a small smile on his face. When Michiyo saw that small smile, she was reminded of the way Todoroki smiled when he was happy.
