"Michiyo..." Todoroki didn't want to tell her because it'd only worry Michiyo. "Kirishima said Ranfa could no longer sense Dabi."
"Is...is Dabi dead?" She asked Todoroki, feeling dread filling her soul.
"I don't know." He couldn't use a white lie to lie to her. At a time like this where life and death were the only outcome, he couldn't lie to her.
"Dabi..." All the other wanted was to see her live. Why couldn't his dream come true? Does it mean Dabi had to die in order for Michiyo to live? Does everyone who loved her and protect her have to die in the very end? No, it couldn't be that way. She won't let it become that way! "Shouto, will you come with me?"
"You want to go to where Ranfa and Kirishima are?"
"Yes."
If he could, he wished he could defeat the enemy without Michiyo being there. However, if this was what she wanted, he will make her wish come true. Todoroki held her hand and the two of them looked at Bakugou to see what he will decide to do.
"Huh? Isn't it obvious? I'm going with you too. This whole fucking thing involves me too."
The three of them ran out into the open, letting the black portals spot them. Before they knew it, the tentacles reached out for them, pulling them into the black portals.
"Eijirou!"
Kirishima became Ranfa's shield. He knew his own Hardening was useless in the face of a point blank fire that was so strong it could cremate anything in its path, but he told himself to shield Ranfa no matter what. He couldn't be her shield in the past so he needed to become one in her present to make it all up.
The moment the three of them got into the portals, Todoroki used his ice Quirk to freeze all of the tentacles so they could break free from its slippery grasp in ease! He used his ice to flash freeze all of the blue fire, getting rid of all heat it caused.
"Kirishima!" Todoroki used his powers on Kirishima, making sure to prioritize his safety.
Michiyo used her powers to make a wall between her friends and the enemy so Bakugou could use his explosion to blow the enemy away!
"You've messed us up enough! FUCK OFF!!!" Bakugou was sick and tired of this utter bullshit. Unlike Todoroki and Kirishima, he doesn't know the full story of what's going on! He only heard bits and pieces from Kirishima, and none of them make sense to him! It's not something that could be taken in after listening to it once! "If you want to be a piece of shit, go be a piece of shit somewhere we couldn't see you! If you want to worship your 'God', fuck off and do it yourself! Stop involving other people into your madness!"
As more and more explosions were made, Bakugou was seeing bits and pieces of memories that did not belong to him. He could see himself and this white haired girl who shared the same face as Ranfa and Michiyo. In the fragments of memories, Bakugou could see himself giving this girl a smile...something he would never give for anyone else. It was a smile where he was content from the bottom of his heart.
"Even though it's not mine..." Bakugou said quietly to himself. "Even though it's not mine, it hurts." The enemy couldn't stop Bakugou's onslaught of explosions! He's coming at her with the intent to kill! He wondered if this was why he was motivated to protect Michiyo and Ranfa as well. Maybe...maybe in another world, he and this white haired girl met one another and grew a strong bond with one another.
"Kirishima, are you okay?!" Michiyo ran over to him and she looked at his back.
"I made it in time. It won't leave a scar on him." Todoroki said to her.
