It was dawn and the entire house was quiet. Thinking she was asleep, Kenny tiptoed into the guest room where Toni was. However, she hadn't slept at all the night before so she was wide awake.
She turned over feeling the covers move, "What are you doing in here?"
"It's okay everyone is asleep. I came to check on you." He said cozying up next to her.
"I'm okay."
"And the baby?"
"The baby is fine... I think. I should go see a doctor." She said getting worried. She had been stressed out for a couple days which was not good.
"I can take you."
"Maybe you shouldn't."
Kenny frowned picking his head up, "What?"
"Your mother, she knows." She said.
"No she doesn't-"
"Ken, last night she cornered me and I slipped up and called you Ken and she caught it. I didn't mean to but-"
"Hey, shh. My mom is old, she probably forgot as soon as she left the room. I mean, she never mentioned it to me and trust me, she's not one to hold her tongue." He said kissing her forehead as he wrapped his arms around her.
Toni sighed, "If you say so."
"Relax, and try to actually get some rest this time."
Later that morning, the two of them snuck off to go see the doctor. Driving separate cars, they met up and went inside.
"The baby is fine." The doctor said.
"Good." Toni said in relief.
"When do we get to find out the gender?" Kenny asked looking at the tiny thing on the ultrasound.
"A couple months, but I have like a sixth sense when it comes to babies...I think it's a girl. We'll know for sure later on." The doctor said.
Toni smiled, "I hope it's a girl."
"In the meantime, we need to get your weights up. I'm putting you on the best diet; eat as much as you can. I'll get you some more prenatal vitamins." The doctor said.
They nodded as she walked out.

"I can't believe he'd bring that slut here!" Sabrina hissed having morning tea with Brenda. Niko had just left for school and she was finally able to let out all her anger.
"This isn't the time for anger. This is an opportunity." Brenda said.
"What do you mean?"
"Well now that we know where she'll be at all times, it'll be easier to get rid of her."
Sabrina sat up, "You're right."
Brenda smirked, "I know."

Later that evening...
Stepping out of the shower, Toni wrapped a towel around herself before walking into the bedroom. She was so glad she had her own bathroom in here so she didn't have to leave for nothing but food.
She froze seeing Kenny sitting on the bed. She instantly panicked knowing that Sabrina and Brenda were both downstairs.
"Ken, what are you do-"
"Shh." He said picking her up and pinning her against the wall. He crashed his lips into hers as he unwrapped the towel.
She let out a small moan but pulled away feeling like she heard footsteps. Kenny attacked her neck before the mood came down...
"Toni?!" Sabrina called out knocking on the door.
"Umm...yeah?!" She said as he put her down.
"Dinner's almost ready."
"Okay thanks."
Wrapping her towel back around her body, she and Kenny waited until they heard Sabrina go down the stairs. When the coast was clear Toni glared at Kenny.
"You can't just do that. What if she heard us?" She said.
He peck her lips, "You worry too much."
"I don't like this Ken. Constantly looking over my shoulder, worrying I'll say the wrong thing, it's insane."
"Look at me, everything is fine. I'm working it all out." He said. Stealing another kiss, he walked out of the room. Shaking her head, she hurriedly put on some clothes.

"Hey, you're just in time." Sabrina said as Toni came downstairs.
She smiled as she sat down, "Good, it smells wonderful."
"Thank you. Here's your plate." Brenda said handing her a plate of shrimp Alfredo. The smell of the shrimp was starting to make her stomach turn.
"Hey, I wanted shrimp." Niko said staring at his shrimp-less food.
"Here, take mine." Toni said handing him her plate.
"Thanks." He said scooting his plate over to her.
"Niko, you can't throw a fit and expect things to go your way." Kenny told him as he sat down at the head of the table.
"Leave him alone." Toni chuckled.
Soon Sabrina and Brenda joined them and they started eating.
"So Toni, how are you really?" Sabrina asked referring to the death of Simone.
"I'm just taking it one day at a time. There's times where I just wanna pick up the phone and call Simone but I know she's not going to answer." Toni said as a tear slipped down her cheek. Kenny handed her napkin, "Thanks." She said taking it and wiping her face as he rubbed her shoulder.
Sabrina and Brenda shared a look. Kenny has never been so caring and attentive when it came to Sabrina.
"I'm terribly sorry for your loss." Brenda said.
Toni let out a small smile as she went back to eating, "This is delicious." She said.
"Thanks, it's my own recipe."
"Really? I'd love it if you showed me some time."
"It's a family recipe." Brenda said.
"Mom." Kenny said in embarrassment. Brenda raised an eyebrow.
"It's okay. I understand." Toni said.
Sabrina cleared her throat, "So, Kenny tells me Niko is doing well in piano."
Toni perked up, "Yes he is. I've never seen someone catch on so quickly. He may take his father's job soon."
"That's our boy." Kenny said as Niko smiled big.
Sabrina smiled, "We were just talking about having another baby the other night. I really want a daughter." She said.
Kenny looked at her crazy as Toni pushed out another fake smile.
"Oh...well I think you should. She'd be beautiful." She said.
Suddenly Niko started choking making everyone pause. Falling out of his chair, he started convulsing.
"NIKO!" Kenny yelled getting up and running to his son's aid.
"Oh my God!" Sabrina said sitting there frozen as Brenda went to help Kenny.
"Call 911." Brenda said prompting Toni to grab the phone.
