Sabrina climbed into bed seeing Kenny rapidly texting. She tried to look over but couldn't see.
"Who are you texting?" She finally asked.
"My lawyer, I'm updating him on the fact that it's been almost 3 weeks and you have yet to sign the papers."
"Kenny, what did I do to deserve this type of treatment? You've been this way for almost 3 years."
He scoffed, "Maybe it was the fact that you're not cut out for a family. You literally told someone that you only had Niko because I begged for a kid. Now that we have Niko you show no interest in him nor do you care for him the way I do. You don't care about anyone but yourself."
She folded her arms, "Is there someone else?"
He let out a breath. All that he said and still she was worried about another woman.
"Yes. I love her and I want to be with her. Happy now?" He admitted.
She became glared at him, "After everything I've done for you-"
"What have you done besides make my life hell?! I hate being here." He voiced before getting out of bed and walking out. Sabrina jumped as he slammed the door behind him.

Toni laid in bed reading when she heard a knock on the door "Come in." She said. Niko opened the door and she frowned, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I just had a bad dream." He said.
"I'm sorry. Is there anything I can do?"
"Can I stay in here with you?" He asked shyly.
She smiled, "Sure."
He climbed into bed and laid down resting his head against her shoulder. Wrapping her arm around him, she ran her fingers through his curls as she went back to reading.
"Toni?"
"Hmm?"
"Sometimes I wish you were my mom."
Looking down at him, "Why?" She asked trying to figure out how he went from crushing to wanting her as a mom.
"You're nice, you make me feel safe, and you're fun to be around." He said.
"I'm sure you get all that with your mom."
"No, she never pays attention to me."
She sighed kissing his forehead, "It'll get better."
"I also know that you and dad love each other." He threw out making her heart beat increase.
"Umm...huh?" She muttered.
Niko looked up at her, "I heard you two the other night. He's happier now that you're around all the time." He said in a content tone.
"Niko honey, I don't know what to say. I think we should have this conversation at a later time...maybe when you're dad is around."
He nodded, "How's your leg?"
"It hurts."
"What happened?"
"Car accident. Now, go to sleep." She said tickling him.
He chuckled before yawning, "Goodnight."
"Goodnight."
Niko's breaths turned into snores and Toni's reading turned into stressful thinking. Sabrina listened outside of the closed door becoming infuriated. Not only was she taking her husband but now her son?

Kenny finished up the last of the tests he had started grading to get away from Sabrina. He was on his way upstairs when he saw a figure out by the pool. He quietly walked outside, "What are you doing out here?" He asked. Toni looked up at him and smiled as he sat down next to her.
"Thinking...I brought a knife just in case." She said making him chuckle.
"What are you thinking about?"
"Niko heard us that night you brought me home from the hospital."
Kenny blinked a few times, "Are you kidding me?"
"I wish I was. Ken, it was weird he didn't even seem upset. He just knew you were happy and he's fine with that."
"Did he say anything else?"
She shook her head, "I stopped him before he could. I felt so bad."
"Look if he didn't say anything to me he definitely won't say it to Sabrina. He comes to you because he feels safe with you." He said noticing how she always seem to find things out about Niko that even he didn't know.
"I guess." She said with a shrug. She sat in deep thought before noticing Kenny taking off his shirt. She frowned, "What are you doing?" She asked watching him ease his way into the pool.
"Come on." He said holding his hand out.
She shook her head again, "I can't swim. Plus, everyone is inside."
He ignored her as he took off her cast and examined her ankle. It was still swollen.
"They're asleep. The doctor said some exercise could help heal you. What's better than therapeutic water aerobics?"
"Ken-" She gasped feeling herself being yanked in. He caught her chuckling as she glared at him. She groaned, "My clothes!"
"You won't need them." He said pulling at the hem of her tank top. She hesitantly allowed him to take it off exposing her bare chest.
"What about when we get out?"
"They'll be dry by then." He said with a smirk.
He kissed her neck softly as she looked up at he and Sabrina's bedroom window. He pulled away and captured her lips. "Relax." He told her.

Toni sat on the edge of the bathtub that sat in the center of the bathroom. She carefully removed her cast before standing up. Untying her bathrobe, she kicked off her other shoe. She was eager to get into the warm bubble bath she drew for herself.
Easing herself into the tub, she relaxed once her body was fully submerged under the water. She grabbed her AirPods off the stool next to her and put them in before going into full relaxation mode. Laying back and resting her head against the tub she let the warm water soak away all the soreness in her body.
Last night in the pool with Kenny had her body tired but she had to admit her ankle did feel a little better today.
Her eyes popped open as she felt weight on her head, pushing her underwater. "AAHH!" She screamed fighting to keep her head up. She reached up feeling a hand pressing down harder, "NO!" She screamed feeling the water up to her nose.
She fought until she hit her head on the side of the tub harder than she expected. It weakened her allowing the hand fully push her under. Dizzy and unable to breathe, she blacked out.
