"What happened?!" Kenny asked Sabrina. She went into the back room with Niko after they rushed him to the hospital.
"It was an allergic reaction. Your mother used some new ingredients in her Alfredo maybe he's allergic to one of them." She lied. She knew he'd probably kill her if she knew what happened.
"This just doesn't make sense." He said shaking his head as he sat down. She sat next to him annoying him even more. He thought of something, "And when did we talking about having another baby?"
She looked up at him and frowned, "I thought you wanted a daughter-"
"No, I said divorce! I'm not sure how your brain mixed that up." He snapped.
"Do we have to talk about this now?"
"If you didn't avoid me every time I try to talk about it, we wouldn't have to."
She stood up,"I'm not doing this. I'm going to go check on our son."
He grabbed her wrist yanking her back down in her seat, "No you're going to listen and listen well. It's not working out and I want a divorce."

Toni sat on the bed nervously shaking her leg. She was so worried about Niko. The bedroom door opened and she saw Kenny.
She stood up, "Is he okay?"
"Yeah, he's on a lot of meds but he'll be fine." He said lowly as he closed the door behind him. She sighed in relief sitting back down.
"Good."
"Hey, I don't know what Sabrina was talking about at dinner. I don't know why she's talking about kids when she barely wanted Niko." He said sitting on the bed next to her.
"I'm sure that's not true."
"It is. I heard her say it to her sister over the phone. Anyway, the only thing I've talked about was a divorce."
"Ken, I believe you. I trust you."
Smiling, he pecked her lips, "I love you."
"I love you too." She replied taking his hand into hers. "Are you okay? I know it must've been scary."
"I'm fine, I'm just glad he's alive. I would lose it if something happened to him."
"Knock, knock." They heard as the door opened making them pull apart immediately. Brenda stood in the doorway with an unreadable expression.
"Hi." They nervously said in unison.
"Kenny, shouldn't you be getting ready for bed? You've got class tomorrow." She said.
He nodded, "You're right. I was just filling Toni in on Niko." He said before turning to Toni, "Goodnight."
"Goodnight Kenny." She replied as he got up and walked out. Brenda stared at Toni making her push out a smile, "Goodnight Mrs. Edmonds."
"Toni." She simply said before closing the door.

The next morning, Sabrina and Brenda were having their daily morning tea.
"How did last night happen?" Brenda asked.
"I don't know! I gave her the right plate. Maybe Niko mistaked it for his or switched them." Sabrina said.
"You can't afford to screw up like that again."
"I know."
"No you don't know. You need to get your head on straight. What you did was stupid. You almost killed my grandson." Brenda snapped.
Sabrina sighed, "I fucked up, okay?"
"The more you fuck up, the more you push him into her arms." She informed her. Standing up, "You know what? I'll handle it." She said grabbing her phone and walking out.
