Jisung's POV

"Do I really need to do this again?" I asked as I stared at Mark. "Yes and for your information I will too so man up and get your princess" he said. What are we talking about you ask? Well, the fact that prom is going to be in like 2 weeks and that I have to ask Eunhwa out again like last time.

But this time I need to come up with something... fancier? No, she wouldn't like too fancy, well maybe something more special as she is my mate and my love after all. "Are you sure that Hayeon can make it out there? I mean, she is pregnant for God's sake" Jeno said. "She's gonna be fine, she doesn't HAVE to dance you know" Mark said.

"I ran out of ideas on how to ask someone out, help me" I said. "For one you can literally just take her to the royal garden. She's never been there right?" Renjun suggested and a light bulb lit up in my head. "Thank you so much oh my God" I said before rushing to the garden to find something I can use to take her out on that prom date.

I saw something really special in the middle of the garden and then I got a brilliant idea, I'm not telling any of you though it's gonna be a surprise. I went back to the room and Jaemin asked "Found anything?" I nodded and sat down on my- well, my now shared bed with Eunhwa, not just solely mine anymore. It's not that I minded sharing my bed with her though, why would I even?

"I hate all of you and your creative selves, what am I supposed to get for a FREAKING PREGNANT LADY?" Jeno shrieked. "I don't know take her to some sort of gazebo and ask her there?" Chenle asked. "Genius, thank you" he said. "Okay this is getting weirder and weirder every single second" I said.

"Aren't we always like that though?" Haechan asked and we all shrugged. A knock on the door was what disrupted us and it opened to reveal Jaehyun. "Jisung you're needed for an improptu meeting with your parents and the Royal Council at the Royal Council's meeting room" he said. I groaned and said "I'll be there in 5" and he closed the door.

"Your prince duty calls, Your Highness" Haechan teased and I glared at him. I changed to something more formal and then went to the meeting room to have that improptu meeting, whatever it is for. "So what do you need us for Taeyong?" I heard my father ask my brother. "We have to present Jisung to everyone, it's time" he said.

"And I've called all of you here for your confirmation" he continued. "I have no say in this, it's completely up to Jisung on whether he's ready to be presented or not" my mom said and my father agreed with her. "We're giving the decision fully to Jisung, we're not going to have any opinions on this" my father said.

"Jisung?" my brother asked for my opinion. "Can I be presented by the middle of December? Eunhwa still has prom and graduation to attend to and I very much want to accompany her without getting myself or her in any danger of any sort. So December is fine yeah?" I asked. "I suppose it is possible to hold it off to mid-December... alright then. It's settled" Taeyong said and dismissed the meeting.

Once I got back to my room, I found the boys talking to Eunhwa and entertaining themselves. "Oh looks like you're back, how was the meeting?" Eunhwa asked as she approached me as she got on her tip toes and pecked my forehead. "It was fine, it was just about me presenting to the kingdom and all anyways" I said and pecked her lips.

"Not now you two, we're still here you know" Chenle complained and I glared at him. "Okay Eunhwa do you think you can sleep at the apartment or another room tonight?" I asked and she looked confused. "Why? Are you having an affair?" she asked suspiciously and scanned me from head to toe.

"NO! Why would I? I... this is actually embarrassing to say. I'm having my rut today and you know what happens... right?" I asked. Her cheeks turned red and she nods. "Yes of course. Mark can I sleep back at the apartment tonight?" she asked and Mark nodded. Why wouldn't he anyways? She's his sister.

I noticed that Jeno was gone, probably off to find his pregnant mate. "Okay when does this rut thing start?" Eunhwa asked. "I don't know, anytime today basically. It's usually starts at like 6 p.m. or something and it's now... 4 p.m." I said and she nods. "Okay so now I know when to leave before you get to your thing" she chuckled.

We all spent the rest of the evening chatting and all. We had quite an early dinner and Eunhwa as well as Mark left soon after that. I literally felt my rut act up on me at about 6.30 p.m. and I closed my eyes shut. I hissed and doubled over in pain and need, it's always been like this but maybe not as intense, I have NOW found my mate and all.

Then my mind started to wander off to Eunhwa and then I started imagining things she would do and all. I tried my best okay, this is what happens. I'm trying my hardest to not just run over to her place and do all the things any alpha would do to their mate in their rut but I shut my eyes tight hoping that the image of my imagination is going to disappear.

It didn't work that well but it had its effects and yeah. It's definitely going to be a long night for me.
