my pointless book of rants

life update: cute boy lol

i think this is going to be my last chapter that i write for this book. maybe i'll start a new one, maybe I won't idk yet lol.

i'm in college now and i have an apartment with one of my friends from high school. it's been really fun because we have our own freedom and shit. we had a party last weekend and i met some of her nursing friends. there's this really cute boy in her study group and i'm considering make a move... we'll see.

during the summer i had this kind of fling with a guy, but i ended up ghosting him lol oops

but about this guy: he has blonde hair and blue eyes. we'll call him zac he's pretty adorable and i feel like i have a chance. the first time i met him was when he came late to a study session between my roommate and her other nursing friends. she was showing them around the apartment and they came into my room while i was doing homework. there was three girls, the boy, and another guy (who was also very attractive but kind of a douche). there was supposed to be another guy but he couldn't make it.

i previously asked my roommate/friend about who was all coming and she told me about the cute boy and i was his instagram, so i planned ahead and wore a cute outfit lolol. anyways so everyone's in my room and i immediately looked at zac first, but then looked away. they were all saying how they thought my room was cute and that they liked it. so i looked over at zac trying to be sly and check him out without him noticing. but he was already staring at me. like hardcore staring. i was so taken aback because i wasn't expecting him to already be paying attention to me. nothing really eventful happened after that so fast forward to two days later, when the study group came back over.

they had study group after their class ended which was at 1:45. my class also ended at that time but i was in a study area/room at my school until like 2:30. so by the time i got back to our place, everyone was already there. before i walked in, i literally had to take a deep breath because i was so nervous for some reason. the butterflies were very present in my tummy lol. so i walk in and they're all in the living room and they said hello, i said hey. i put my keys on the counter, put my backpack in my room, grabbed my water bottle, and went back into the kitchen. i refused to look at anyone because i was so goddam nervous and i honestly don't know why. this has legit never happened to me before. but i put ice in my water bottle and started to fill it up. this is when i decided to sneak a glance at who was all there. it was everyone from before, including the other guy who didn't make it last time. i did not look at zac directly.

then i locked myself in my room.

after they all left i talked to my roommate about how it all went.

she said, "it was fine, we kinda got off topic. did you see zac was here? i noticed he was staring at you the whole time after you walked in!"

upon hearing this, my stomach literally started doing flips. and i remember saying, "really???" and she said, "yeah, he was watching your every move. like he even moved his head if you started to get out of his view!! it was almost like he was in a trance, because i think he also liked your outfit."

for some background, i was wearing an oversized t-shirt along with running shorts. but my shirt was long enough to make it seem that i wasn't wearing pants (picture a vsco girl)

so hearing my roommate say that made me feel giddy!! as we were talking more about the situation i grabbed my fuzzy blanket that i use since our place is literally freezing. i noticed it smelt different so i told my friend, "who used this blanket? it smells different." and she says, "Oh yeah, zac was snuggling with it." he was also sitting in the spot that i usually sit in on the couch so that whole area basically smelt of his cologne.

so now i basically have a big ass crush on this kid. hopefully it goes well!!! stay tuned for another rant book, if i make it. love you all.
