I drove to the supermarket, grabbed the ingredients I needed, and ran out. As soon as I was home I called Melanie. "Hey," I was gasping. "Can you come over and help me decorate the house Ash will be home in about three hours. I really need help! Will you bring the blue and gray streamers, please?"

"Of course. Anything else, I can get you?" I sighed, relieved. "No, thank you!" Then, hanging up, I got to work on the food. "Cake," I said. "Done."

Soon Melanie was there, and we had streamers and the disco ball up.
"Alright," I said. "Melanie? Could you text everyone to be here?" She nodded, already on her phone.

As I was getting ready, my phone rang. "Hello?" Doing the sensible thing, I answered the phone.

"Hello." A voice I didn't recognize was on the other end. "Uh. Who is this? Are you looking for Alpha Ash?"

"I don't think the Alpha would like to know about me", he said, "I think I scare him very badly. It's you that I am watching."

"Excuse me?" I was scared now; who was this person? What did they want?

Quickly I hung up; shaking I reach for the plates and went to set the table. What was that about? I wondered. After the table was set up, I called Ash through the mental bond. Can you come home yet? Of course! Was his immediate answer.

I heard Ash's' feet crunching against the driveway, and his footsteps on the front steps. Going to greet him, I was surprised by what he did when he opened the door. "Welcome ho-mmhhpp!" I was cut off by his kiss.He looked at me with his adorable smirk. "I'm back," he said; which seemed kind of obvious. "Come to the kitchen with me," I said, "I have a surprise!"  Arm around my waist, I thought about how perfectly our bodies fit together. How we where meant for each other. "Okay," he said, "What did you want to show me?"

Quickly I went to grab the cake from underneath the island. "Ta-da!" I said. "What do you think? Is it all right?" He hugged me. "It's perfect. You couldn't have done any better. Should we eat it now or later?"

I slapped him. "Don't you want to have some fun with me first?" I asked; pretending to be hurt. "Is all you care about my cooking?"

Ash laughed. "No! What do you want to do?" He said, "By the way, I know you aren't angry with me. Your wolf told mine."

Is ruining my fun the only thing you can do? I asked my wolf.  Nope! she replied.

After gorging on cake, and watching movies on the couch together, I decided to tell Ash what had been bothering me. Tapping him on the shoulder, I started as calmly as I could. "Ash," I said, "I got a strange phone call today."

"What was it about?" He asked, clearly sensing my worry.

"That's just it," I told him. " It really scared me. There was a man on the other end, and he told me that he was always watching, and when I asked who he was, he wouldn't tell me. He also said that he thought he scared you very badly."

While I was talking, my mate had gone ridged in my arms. "Promise me one thing," he said; I nodded. "Do not leave the house, or go anywhere alone without me. Okay?" I nodded and snuggled deeper into his embrace. I was really scared now. What did that guy want? I wondered, starting to doze off in my mates arms. Within minutes the world had faded to black.

Logan's POV

As soon as Arianna left in the car, I started to worry. What if he takes her? I asked myself. It'll be all my fault! I started to pace, my worry growing stronger. She'll be fine. My wolf told me. He dosen't know what she looks like or what her scent is.  "Hey Ash,"  Zac said; appearing at my side. "Do you want to go and get something to eat?" I shrugged and followed him.

Suddenly a message exploded in my mind. Can you come home yet? Quickly I shifted and replied; of course! and ran home.

I walked up the front steps of the house and found Arianna at the door. "Welcome hom-mmmhhhppp!" I cut her by giving her a kiss, nearly causing her to drop the phone in her hand. "I'm back." I told her.

"Come into the kitchen," she said smiling. "I have a surprise!"

She bent down and brought out a beautiful cake. "Ta-da!" she said. "Do you like it? Is it alright?"

I hugged her. "It's perfect. You couldn't have done better! Should we eat it now or later?"

She playfully slaped me and stuck out her bottom lip. "Don't you want to have some fun first? Is all you care about my cooking?"

"No! What do you want to do?" I said pretending to play along. "By the way, I know you aren't angry with me. Your wolf told mine."

Later that night as we sat on the couch watching movies she started to tell me about something.

"Ash," she said, starting to shake but  sounding as if she wanted everything to be alright. "I got a strange phone call today."

I gripped her tighter. "What was it about?"

"That's just it," she  told me. " It really scared me. There was a man on the other end, and he told me that he was always watching, and when I asked who he was, he wouldn't tell me. He also said that he thought he scared you very badly."

Promise me one thing," I said; she nodded. "Do not leave the house, or go anywhere alone without me. Okay?" she nodded and snuggled into me, quickly falling asleep.

Ariannnas POV

I awoke to a sudden chill as the wall of warmth against me move away. Grunting I sat up and watched Ash for a minute in his sleep. He must have carried me up here last night, after I fell asleep. I thought as I looked around the room; Ash's' room; our room. As I looked at Ash his hand started searching the mattress for me. I smiled and kissed him on the cheek calming him before going to get breakfast. While mixing the batter for a set of flapjacks, I got slammed into from behind nearly hitting the counter. " 'Morning." I said to Ash. He growled, and kissed me for a long time. "That is how you wish me a good morning." He said. I tapped him on his nose and continued make breakfast while he set the table. "Lets hangout for today," I said, "Then invite a couple friends over."

"Kay," he mumbled through his pancake.

About four hours had passed before I got from our place on the couch to get ready for the party. He nodded and followed me to the bedroom. As I went into the bathroom to change couldn't help but wonder who the phone call had been from, and what Ash meant when he said I shouln't leave the house alone. Coming out in my white with black lace party dress, my heart nearly stopped. Ash stood there rolling up the sleeves to his long sleeved v-neck shirt, and looking absolutely amazing in the black jeans he had on.

Hearing the door bell ring I smilied. "Their here!" I shouted pulling Ash out the door and down the stairs. As he opened the door a loud 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' sounded of the walls.

"Lets party!" I shouted, and dragged a surprised Ash to the dance floor.
