Chapter 9

Ash's POV

As soon as Arianna got home, I told Melanie to leave. I needed to tell Arianna I was sorry. When I went  to her room she was on her bed,as if she was waiting for me. "What were you thinking," I asked her. " You could have been hurt." She glared at me. "Why would you care," she yelled. "You've done nothing but be cruel and distant. Why don't you go sulk in you office? Or is even that to close to me?" Before I could answer, she shifted and attacked me. Jumping on me,she bit my shoulder. Angered by the fact she attacked us,my wolf took control for a moment and threw her into the television across the room. It cracked,and bits and pieces went everywhere. She shifted back at this and pulled her knees to her chest, as it trying to hide. I took a step toward her, wanting to help. "Just stay away from me," she said. I took another step. "I said, stay away!" She was crying now. Taking the blankets off the bed,I wrapped them around her. Standing up, she started to walk away. Just as she took a step I saw the piece of glass just before her foot hit it. She almost fell but I caught her in time. Laying her in the bed I told her I would be right back,and went to get the First Aid kit from my room on the floor above. When I heard her scream I ran back to her.

Arianna's POV

Ash came charging into the room. When he looked at my fingers I realized, I still was clutching the piece of glass. "Here. Let me," he said. "This will hurt." Naw dur I thought. It's in my skin. I bit my lip when he yanked it out. Quickly, he took a bandage from the first aid kit on the floor. Wrapping it round my foot quickly, and tightly, he looked at me. "I'm sorry for how I treated you," he said. I looked him in the eye. "You don't have to pretend," I told him. He gave my a sad look, as if he wanted to say something. "What is it," I asked. "Why are you looking at me like that?" "I wanted to tell you something, but I don't think you would like it," he replied as he looked away. "Oh. I want to know," I told him.  He breathed deeply. "O'Kay,"he said. "Arianna, I never ment to hurt you. I didn't want to cause you any pain. I thought I was protecting you. But I wasn't. I just wanted to say,"he didn't finish because at that point I just full out kissed him. It shut him up instantly. For a moment he was shocked, and then he kissed me back. "I love you," I told him. "I love you, to," he said. And with that I shooed him from my room, and went to sleep.
