Ash led me through the crowd, introducing me to so many people I couldn't keep track of how many names hit me. Slowly we made our selves to the arena, where I met the training instructor. Hello Luna," He said bowing. "I am pleased to meet you. My name is Zac." I shook his hand. "I'm pleased to meet you as well," I said. "So, who will I be training with?" He smirked. "How about Katrina," he asked. "She's been looking for a training partner."
Zac nodded in the direction of a blonde girl standing against a tree. "Arianna-" I shook him off. "Perfect." I said. "Shall we start now?" Zac nodded, and called her over. "Katrina,Arianna" he introduced us like we where nuclear bombs he waiting to see which one would explode first. We shook hands and went to opposite sides off the arena. Turning around to face, I noticed the crowd had stopped talking and was watching us. A sly smiled played on my lips. Katrina had know idea what she was getting into, and the instructor had tried to setp me up with their most difficult wolf.
She can't beat us. My wolf said. Play first, before actually giving her something to think about. She started the match by running towards me. I stood there, completely relaxed. She tried to set me off my game by dodging to the side before hitting me, but I had seen it coming before she tried it. Quick as lightning, I spun around and judo flipped her over my shoulder. She hit the ground with a smack.
Jumping up at me, she tried again to set me off. Lunging at me, I jumped backwards and she lost her balance. Running quickly to the other side off the arena, it was my turn to make a move. Quick as lightning, I turned to punch her in the face as she ran towards me. I hit her with so much force she flew backwards about four feet. She landed unconscious, and I raised my hand as winner of the match before going to see about my component.
She lay on the ground, blood seeping from her nose. "Look," snapped the nurse. "I'm trying to take car-....Luna! M-my a-apologies. I didn't know it was you!" I crouched down. "It's fine," I said. "What can I do to help?" The nurses face was thoughtful. "Well if you hold her up," she said, "It will stop the bleeding faster." I propped her up, and help a tissue to her nose. Slowly she came back to consciousness. Her eyes fluttered opened. "Luna! Why are you caring for me? I'm not that important!"
I held her down. "Keep still," I told her. "Your nose is broken." Reluctantly, she sat down.Keeping the tissuse tdo her nose, I waited till the nurse came back. While wiating, I did the best I could to stop the bleeding from her nose, but I wasn't doing much. "You can stop now." The nurse was back. "Thank you," she said, as I got up and left.
Climbing one of the taller trees around the ring, I watched some of the other matches, then, all of a sudden, I remebered Ash's party. Quickly climbing down the tree, I jumped in the car. Ash came up to me. "Can I take the car," I asked. "It's really important." He leaned on the car door. "Of course you can," he said, "I'll run home. I haven't done that in a while." I nodded and drove off. Birthday shopping, I thought. Here I come.
