When I woke up, my alarm clock said 12:30 p.m. I had slept that long? Then I remembered yesterday. The fight. The glass,and the kiss. Wait. I kissed Ash. I kissed Ash? I KISSED ASH?! What had made me do that? Lost in thought, I didn't realize knocking on the door. "Come in," I called. Ash stepped in with a breakfast tray in his hands. With an adorable smile he said," I made you breakfast. I hope you like eggs and bacon. I can't make much of anything else." "It's fine." Smiling I told him to bring it over. "Hey," he said. "Your brother called. He wanted you to Come to Blue Mountain Ridge territory today." I nearly choked on the egg I was eating. "He wha?" I swallowed. "He what? He wants me to come over? Today? But Melanie and I had plans. Mall plans." He shrugged. "Bring Melanie with you and go to the mall with Jake." He kissed me on the cheek. I blushed. "What was that for," I asked. "It was a good morning." He smirked. Finishing my eggs, I told him to leave so I could get ready for my day. He left with the tray, and as I got up told me he had a surprise downstairs. I nodded and closed the door. As soon as I couldn't here his foot steps anymore, I started jumping up and down. I liked Ash! Ash liked me! Could this day get any better? I didn't realize how quickly I would be proven wrong.

I put on flats, shorts,and a comfy shirt on, and went downstairs. "Ready to see your surprise?" Ash was at the door, holding a pair of keys. I nodded. He opened the door and lead me outside with my eyes covered. "Here we are," he said. "This is your late birthday present." When he uncovered my eyes,and I saw what he got me ( it was a candy apple cloth top convertible), I kissed him again. It took him by surprise because he said 'Whoa' when I let go of him. He held out the keys,and excitedly I took them. "Melanie knows I am picking her up, right," I asked him. " Yes," he siad,giving me a quick peck on the cheek. I drove of feeling like the luckiest girl ever. As I pulled up at Melanie's, the look of surprise on her face at what I was driving was priceless. "What ...how... what, " she stammered. "Present. Ash. Kiss," was all I said. "Now let's his shopping!" And we drove off to my brothers territory, the speakers blaring. As soon ad we crossed the boarder, I stiffened. Why did I feel like I was on enemy territory? Because, a tiny voice in my head said. You've been at another packs territory so long your scent had changed. This is no longer home. I new my concisence was right. This was no longer my home. "What are we doing here," Melanie asked. "We're picking up my brother and his friend." I told her. She nodded. After entering the territory, it took about half an hour later we where at Jake's house, waiting on Dylan to finish eating. "Why couldn't I bring it in the car," he asked. "Because, it's new." I told him. Then I looked at Melanie. She'd been staring at him the whole time. I smiled and grabbed Dylan's shoulder, and was about to introduce him to Melanie, when I got punched in the face. "Hey," I screamed. "What did you do that for Mel!?" I was going to grabbed her shoulder and demand an answer, before Dylan put his arm in front of me. "She's my mate!" He yelled. Jake stepped in. "Melanie, I realize you've just met your mate, but you attacked an Alpha and that is completely unacceptable." Shock came onto Melanie's face. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, Arianna! I wasn't thinking! Are you o'kay?" I laughed. "It's fine. I understand." She nodded, but still looked uncertain. "Here," Jake said he got out of the backseat. "Why don't I sit up front. Melanie can sit in back." Melanie immediately got out of the front seat.

"Soon it was just an awkward scilence, so I broke it by saying, "Well that was probably the least interesting thing of my week." Everyone looked at me funny.

***after they got home ***

"So," I asked Melanie. "What are you going to do when your mate is in another?" "Oh, he's moving here. Jake already got another Beta to take over for him." After I dropped her of,I couldn't wait to see Ash when I got home. When I walked in I came into the best dinner ever.
