Kris was looking disgustingly at Mark who was sipping his matcha milk tea with a stupid smile on his face. His friend was smiling constantly from the moment he picked him up, during their boring biology class, even up until now that they were chilling at the school cafe after finishing their first class.
"Eww stop smiling, it makes me want to stab myself" Kris finally said, over exaggerating.
Mark didn't bother to answer, instead he just continued drinking his milk tea as he looked outside the window with a dreamy eyes.
"Who did you fuck bro? Is she really that good that you're starting to lose your mind?" Kris asked, still looking disgusted but quite intrigued. Whoever that girl is, he wants to know them digits.
The boy looked at him, smiling slyly. "Not yet. Im waiting for your approval, my future brother in law" he said smirking while establishing intense eye contact.
Kris choked on the pearls of his wintermelon milk tea with 100% sugar level. His eyes went wide as his jaw dropped. "I was right all along?"
Mark smiled as he played with the straw of his drink. His cheeks flushed as he noddeds slightly at his friend's question.
"You sure you like traitors?" Kris asked seriously after composing himself.
"What do you mean? Why would you call him that?" Mark asked feeling aggravated. How can someone call his precious ray of sunshine a traitor? The audacity.
Kris was surprised with Mark's intonation. He cant understand why his friend was so worked up with his stupid brother. "He left us for that scumbag just because he is wealthy". Kris's voice was venomous.
Mark shook his head at his friend's answer. "You really think your brother is capable of doing that?"
"Then why would he leave us all of a sudden?"
"Have you tried asking him?"
"I did. His answer doesn't even make any sense. Such a loser"
"Stop calling him that" Mark said, starting to lose his temper. He can't bare hearing Kris talk shit about Gun.
Kris was shock with Mark's reaction. He was about to answer when his phone suddenly rang. He looked at the caller ID and was a bit shocked that the person they were talking about is calling him. He was about to end the call but Mark snatched his phone after seeing who the caller is.
"Hello P'Gun" he greeted enthusiastically, smiling from ear to ear. Kris wanted to retrieve his phone but gave up immediately. He really doesn't want to argue with Mark. He came to realize that he shouldnt involve Mark with whatever problems he has with his brother.
"Who is this? What? Is he okay? You should have called earlier. Ok I'm sorry Phi. Were coming"
Kris felt nervous upon hearing the conversation. He wanted to ask some questions but he doesn't want to interrupt the call.
"Lets go" Mark said after the call ended, returning the phone before hurriedly running out of the cafe.
Kris was confused but still followed him. "Where are we going?" He finally asked as they entered Mark's car.
"Your brother" Mark replied as he started his car. He stepped on the gas agressively as if he's putting out the light from his cigarette.
"What happened?" Kris asked nervously. He knows he was having problems with his brother right now but he doesn't want anything bad happen to him.
"I don't know. They just got to the infirmary" Mark replied, knuckles turning white as he tightly clutched the steering wheel. He was trying to stay calm while picking up his speed.
