Ch.3
There is a bit of abuse here it starts and ends at the italics

Pain bloomed in my ribcage as one of my guards reared back his foot and kicked me. I looked up at them only to see a blank face, no nose, no mouth, no anything just a blank white slate. More guards seemed to appear and suddenly I was seven-years old again, to weak and helpless to defend myself. They continued beating me everywhere hot blood pouring out of my mouth and nose. Then they stopped and I almost sobbed in relief at the painless bliss that enveloped me. Then pained cries filled my ears and I found myself in a blank white room. I looked around and saw the same faceless guards beating up another person. A person with long ginger hair and whose normally open bright hazel eyes were screwed shut with big tears running down her face. Luna! I screamed or at least tried to. I pushed myself to move forward but I couldn't, I was rooted to the spot watching the only person I had ever let myself love get beaten and bloody. I couldn't even close my eyes. "Evangeline!" I heard someone yell. "Evangeline! Wake up! Hey it's ok it's just a nightmare." someone reassured gently. I then felt myself being pulled up-
-and into the arms of the person I loved so dearly. She held me as I sobbed against her, leaning all my weight on her as she whispered reassurances quietly into my ear. Luckily we had stationed our tent farther away from the others so hopefully my nightmares didn't wake them.

When I had finished crying Luna continued to hold me and eventually we laid down like that, with her holding me close to her and I taking comfort of the security she gave me.

But even long after Luna fell asleep I stayed up thinking. This was the first nightmare I had gotten in the weeks we had stayed with the pack. We were slowly moving towards Yosemite but we had to keep stopping due to all the Hunters on the lookout for the escapees. It was only a week until Luna's birthday and luckily nobody had discovered her secret. Although, I did have a bad feeling about today.

As if hearing my thoughts a caw sounded from in the woods. I carefully untangled my self from Luna's limbs, lifted the cover, and peeked outside.

The same black crow from before sat directly on the tree branch above us. It seemed to look directly at me as it cawed again then flew off into the night. That couldn't have been a coincidence. The same crow appearing to me and cawing at me? That's beyond supernatural. I decided to think about it later. For now I would just cuddle back against Luna and the safety of her arms.

Morning came and nothing was out of the usual. Huh I guess it was nothing, I thought. Everything was going as it did every day, pack members who were on guard last night switched out with another member, the smell of breakfast wafted through the air, and Luna woke up with a dazzling smile. Except there was a feeling of tension in the air that nobody else seemed to notice but me.

Without warning the camp erupted into chaos.
