chapter 15~ invasion

"And we played games,  and I learned this new song Mrs . Thomas taught us.!" Kyler happily was explaining to me how was her first day.

"Did you make any new friends? " I asked

"yes! Lots of them!  But there's this one I feel special about his name is Tyler.  Mommy it matches my name! "

"Tyler.... what do you mean special baby?"

"He and I hanged out the most. He said I'm his new best friend. "

"Kenny, I want you and mommy to meet him" she says

"Of course baby " I said to her.

We were all in the living room laying with Kyler while she was just talking and talking and talking.

Kenny was cuddling me and I was holding Kyler hand.

"I gotta Go pee! " she untangled herself from me and ducked off.

"She is too excited,  I told you she would love it" I say.

"Yeah but we still have to be cautious.  Anything can be an illusion." He says

"I know.  I cried like baby when I dropped her off, tomorrow your going to drop her off" I told him

"That's cool,  I gotta go find this french place any way. "He says

"Mommy! Mommy!  Mommy!  There's someone in the hallway closet." Kyler ran up to me

"What? !?! " I jumped up

Kenneth did as well and headed upstairs. We all followed him slowly. Kyler held on to my hand as hard as she could. 

Kenny searched the closet, but no one was there.

"He was there mommy! He called my name and everything! "She cried

I could see the black fear in her watery glossy eyes

I crouched down hugged her tightly.

"I don't see anything" Kenneth says

"Check security" I tell him

He darted pass our way and headed back downstairs to Check our security system. 

"He was there" she lowly said.

"OK baby,  Kenny gonna go check everything out" I picked her up and held her on my hip.

I walked downstairs to see did he do it.

But my attention was caught to something else.

The windows... they were open.  The patio to the pool was unlocked.

But the most creepiest thing was , a tape recorder sitting on the table,  and it wasn't here before when we went upstairs.  The window was closed and the patio was locked.

I picked up the small recorder and analyzed what it exactly was.

"The security is shut down,  all our cameras is blacked out, and the alarm is unarmed.  I tried to redo it but the pass code ain't working.... what is that in your hand?"

"I have no clue...."

I pressed the play button.

I heard voices but it was strange because it was our voices on th a machine.

I looked and Kenny with a puzzle look.

Then all of a sudden the recording stop but a new recording came on.

"I guess you discovered that I'm still alive. Well congrats on that cause I am, and I will take what's mine back. You may have escaped for a little while, but vacation time is  over.  Roses are red, Violets are blue,  Kenneth beware, I'm coming to get you" the tape stopped playing

what type of corny shit was that? I thought to myself

Kenny immediately threw down the tape and broke it.

Within that moment the power shut down. All the lights were off

"Go! Hide!" Kenneth demanded as he  pulled out his phone

"But what are you-"

" GO!" He yelled

I moved upstairs and quickly headed to our bedroom and put Kyler and I in our walking closet.

We got in a corner but Kyler instantly started  to cry.

I calmed her down and even calmed myself down because I was scared tio.

We waited over 15 minutes. My phoned loudly ranged.

"Hello? !?! Baby where are you?" I asked

"I'm in the garage,  listen to me carefully,  slim isn't alone. He has a full force coming. If I don't call you back in the next 10 min- I want you to-"

"Kenny?"

"Kenny!!!!!"

My phone went dead.

I was panicking.

I heard 3 gunshots which made me and Kyler jump.

"It's OK sweetie,  just relax" I cooed to her.

"Mommy is gonna go check and see if she can find the telephone, you locked the door and only answer it by me knocking 3 times, other then that don't open it, I'll be  back honey" i kissed her for head and walked out. After making sure she locked the door,  i tip toed down the hall. It was silent as i don't know what.

My heart beat was the loudest thing i could here.

"Kenny..." I called out

I didn't know where he went.

"Ken-" within that moment I felt a hard grip on my mouth.

My hands were being tied into my a tight knot.  3 people circled around  me.

They slapped dust tape on my mouth and  carried me downstairs into the kitchen.

They sat me on a chair.

The room was crowed with men.

I cried as hard as I could still trying to break free.

One dim light turned on.

They ripped the tape off of me and I screeched in pain.

The bastard stood right in front of me.

"You are never going to escape from me" he spoke

Where the he'll is Kenny!

And God please don't let them get to my daughter.
