Chapter 22 - Hydrophobia

"Mallory, now you have to realise your responsibilities and take over the throne!"
"But dad..."
"No more ifs and buts! This is my final word. Coronation will be held on Sunday!"
"Fine Dad.."
I was left with no options. Seriously, I didn't want any throne. I just wanted to fulfill my promise.
I went into the garden to see Mendes.
"Hey, Mallory!"
"I'm in trouble again!"
"Yeah, I've heard about the Coronation. But what's wrong with that?"
"Those responsibilities are too much for now Mendes. I'm already working on my mission."
"So... Now?"
"We've got 6 days to finish all this."
"What? But that's not enough!"
"I know... By the way, I've heard that King Bruno have gifted you the Benzel Restaurant."
"Oh, yes, I'd been free after graduation so he gave me some work and trust me, that's so profitable."
"I realise."
"What's up?"
Lilith walked in.
"We were just talking about the problems again."
"Yeah, the Coronation? Right?"
"Yes. Oh, now everybody knows about this Coronation curse! Oh, I'm doomed!"
"But we can use it against Daniel. Can't we?"
"How?"
"You'll be the Queen of Frosia and then it will be easy for you to work out relations with Aulungston."
"Hmm... Why didn't I think of that.."
"Hey! Mendes! Get me that apple on top of the tree?"
"Am I a monkey?"

We smiled at him.
I saw sunset with some hope of a better coming day. I went into my room, and opened the windows. Breeze through the windows and peace! I was missing Lorenzo. But I also couldn't get over the fall of Survania. There was nothing but a fire burning in my eyes, a thunder in my venom. There was no doubt in the fact that I was a psychopath after such painful events of my life. Anyway, it was midnight by now, I spent hours thinking about Lorenzo and my revenge. I wanted to see him at the moment, I missed him so much, and the thought of Lorenzo being alone in the middle of the Dark Forest was driving me crazy now. My breaths were stuck somewhere in my throat. I turned into serpent and went to the Dark Forest immediately.
"Lorenzo! Are you asleep?"
I went inside the treehouse. Lorenzo was asleep. I sat beside him. Freed him from those chains. His ankles were inflamed and arms were being reddish too. I pulled him towards me that now his head was in my lap. I kissed him on his forehead.
"Oh, I'm sorry darling." I whispered.
I healed his all wounds and held his hand.
"Don't worry baby, everything will be fine one day. And you'll love me too, the way I love you so much."
His head in my lap, I put myself to the wall, and fell asleep.
I woke up in the morning, hearing some hitting sound. Lorenzo was trying to open the door of the treehouse. I laughed.
"Hey, I've freed you from the chains doesn't mean that I'll let you escape."
"Seems like you're happy today?"
"Not much, but I'm always happy with you."
"But I'm not! Let me go!"
"Do you wanna take a bath?"
"Oh, so your luxury treehouse has a bathroom too?"
"Haha, no there's just a room and toilet for you, did you see a bathroom?"
"Shut up!"
"We're going on a date today."
"Oh, is it on the volcano or to the hell?"
I got closer to him. Put my finger to his lips. Shhhh...
"We'll spend some good time."
"YOU ARE SO STICKY AND FUCKING ANNOYING!"
"We're going to the Jukavi River."
"What? Are you nuts? I'm hydrophobic!"
"I know. That's why we're going there."
"What kind of love is this?! You're just selfish!"
"Poisoned love! Hiss!"
"Fuck you!"
"Please... With pleasure!"

"Don't forget the limits or else I'll throw you out again."
He gave me a helpless look.
"And yes love, I've brought some new clothes too."
"Oh, I owe you!"
"Of course!"
I gave him a dark smile.
I got him out of the house with chains around his arms and feet. I shape-shifted and increased my size and wrapped my tail around him, took him to the River. I threw him in the water and heard a helpless scream intensifying. I watched him emotionlessly.
