Chapter 14 - The Festival

I and Mendes left for Aulungston on time. I had written a letter to Lorenzo to meet me at the festival.
I and Mendes did a lot of shopping and played games and all.
"Hey! Mendes!"
"Oh! Oh! Yes?"
"What were you looking at? With this much focus? That girl? Huh?"
"What? Nah!"
"Don't lie, don't lie!"
He gave me a naughty shy look.
"Go and talk to her, for me, pleeeeeaase!"
"Ahan? Why would I? It's your matter, do yourself."
"What if I get you five litres of milk?"
"Do remember your promise, ok?"
He laughed and pushed me towards that girl.
I walked to that girl, standing at the jewelry stall.
"Hey!"
"Hi!"
"May I know your good name?"
"I am Lilith. Lilith Succubus."
"Oh! We share the same surname. And I had a sister with this name!"
"Really?"
"Yes, I'm Mallory, Princess Mallory Succubus of Frosia."
"Oh, your Majesty!"
And she bowed down in front of me.
"Oh, you don't have to do this, we can be friends!"
"Oh, really? I don't have any friends."
"Seriously?! Come with me!"
I took her with me to introduce her to Mendes.
"Meet Mendes, my best friend! And Mendes, this is Lilith."
Mendes bowed down and kissed her hand.
"Mendes, I'm going to meet Lorenzo, you go and enjoy with her." I whispered to Mendes.
"I've set the tree house and everything. But, be careful Mallory... Good luck!"
"Oh, I've to go for now, I'll see you guys soon."
I went to meet Lorenzo. We kept walking, while talking. Lorenzo didn't realise that it was getting dark and I was taking him to the Forest... He was so lost talking to me. Reaching the edge of Aulungston and the border of Dark Forest, we stopped walking. I put my arms on his shoulders, he gave a blank look at first, then wrapped his arms around my waist.
"You know what girl, I love you but I can't marry right now."
"I know, Lorenzo."
"Will you be waiting for me?"
"Forever."
I got closer to him.
"May I kiss you, your Royal Highness?"
He asked me this, I gave an evil smile and kissed him. We kept kissing and cuddling for long. I took him to the further Forest.
"Mallory, aren't you afraid of this dark?"
"Me? Nah? Not at all."
"You're so brave."
"More than you can imagine."
"Oh... So where to?"
"My treehouse!"
"You have a treehouse too?!"
"Eh... Yes, whenever I come for hunting, I stay there. That's safe."
And there it was. The big tree house. And we climbed up to it. We still kissed and did a lot of things.
And after an hour, I started talking.
"Do you know about Survania?"
"Yes. My dad won over that land. He told me that they were evil. They used to eat our people."
"What? No! That's not true!"
"How can you be so confident about it?"
"Because my roots are Survanian."
"Really? How can it be! You're the Princess of Frosia if I'm not wrong."
"I'm the Princess of Survania first, then I'm the Princess of Frosia."
"I'm not getting a single thing..."
"Let me show you..."
I changed my form in front of him. I turned into a big black cobra, with a crown on my head. He screamed at first and then fainted. Yes, that's my chance!
There was no one to hear him. We were in the center of the forest. I got back into my human form.
"Your father! He lied to you!" I shouted.
He was still unconscious. I kissed him on the forehead.
"Oh, I am sorry Lorenzo."
And I got out of the tree house. Locked it from outside. Lorenzo couldn't get out by any means. I took my snake form and quickly got back to the festival. Mendes was waiting for me with the carriage.
"Oh, Mallory! Why did you take so long! I was so worried!"
"Everything's fine. I'll tell you tomorrow."
"Lilith's also going with us."
"Oh really?"
"Yes."
And we got back to Frosia in time.
