Chapter eighteen:engagements?

"Okay mabel we are all done with your room. wanna check it out?" harry asks from the top of the stairs.

I've been staying at my house for a week now but I haven't been staying the night since my room wasn't ready. I Usually went over to Harrys after school.

I jump up and race up the stairs where harry stands.

"Close your eyes." he says and I pout.

"Just do it." he says and I do.

"No peaking." he says grabbing my hand.

"Your going to make me want to do it." I point out and he chuckles.

"Why are you so stubborn?" he mutters.

"Cuz I'm still young." I say.

"Okay stay here." he says letting go.

After a second of whispering the boys say "open."

I gasp when I see the room.

"Holy shit." I say wide eyed.

The boys laugh.

"Do you like it?" Liam asks.

"No. I love it! guys this is amazing!" I say smiling.

The walls are a orange color with white polka dots, a orange and white chandelier hangs from the ceiling, there's a shelf in the corner with some of my pictures that I had hanging up in my room, and there's a little seat at the foot of my white bed.

"You guys are the best."I say wiping my eyes.

I have never had anyone be as I kind to me as they are.

"Are you crying?" Louis asks warily.

"No my eyes are just sweating." I laugh.

I give them all a hug but I give harry a kiss extra.

"So shall we order pizza?" Niall asks and we all nod.

I walk into my school the next day and every single eye is on me. I walk down the hall totally weirded out when Lia rushes to my side.

"So what's going on with you and harry?" she asks.

"Uhh, I told you everything already. The fact that I was kicked out of my own house and Harrys letting me stay at one of his."

"Is that all?" she asks crossing her as over her chest.

She glances down at my left hand.

Wait a second.

"Wait. is there a rumor spreading around about us?" I ask.

"You and me? No. you and harry? Yes." She says.

"Like what?" I ask as I open my locker.

"Like you got engaged and that's why you moved."

I laugh and everyone looks at me.

"Wow. I did it know you people were that stupid to believe something like that. harry and I are not engaged. find something else to talk about other than me all the time please." I say loudly and everyone looks away.

Lia chuckles and closes her locker. We walk into our first period class and everyone stops talking and looks at us.

"Hey mabel. you two can sit next to me." Annabell says gesturing to the seats next to her.

"No. she wants to sit with me." another says.

They all bicker back and forth as Lia and I go to the back of the class and sit.
