"Piper! Hurry the hell up!" Vic pounded on the bathroom door as Piper quickly brushed her teeth and brushed out her long blonde hair.
"I'm working on it! I've only been in here for like five minutes!" She shouted back. Vic sighed on the other side of the door, crossing his arms so his large muscles bulged.
Piper splashed water on her face and then left the bathroom, allowing Vic to take it over.
"'Bout time." He mumbled. Piper frowned at his back as he shut the bathroom door behind him. Aaron was at the table in their hotel room, searching something on the internet quietly.
Piper snuck up behind him, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing his cheek.
"What are you looking at?" She asked. Aaron sighed.
"I was trying to find more on this Detective. Did you know he solved the case that involved Soft Lot Sam?" He asked, turning in his seat and wrapping his arms around Piper's waist.
"He did? Really?" Piper asked, her eyes getting wide. Aaron nodded.
Soft Lot Sam was a bank robber in the nineties, he would rob the place, but still be kind to everyone there, using a fake water gun and shouting nice things to everyone. He was practically Vic's idol seeing as how Soft Lot Sam didn't want to go to jail (what bank robber would?) and went into hiding with all the money he had stolen.
About a year later, they found what they thought to be his body on the shore of the Atlantic in Georgia. They had yet to find his millions of dollars. Some had said he burried it, only to be found by treasure stealing thieves.
Others say the Fed got ahold of it and gave it to the National Treasury.
No one knew for sure.
"How did he solve it, if they never found the stolen money?" Piper asked. Aaron shook his head and shrugged.
"I don't know, everything I've found has only told me that he solved it but not how, I think it was a cover up." He said with a perplexed look in his eyes. Piper stepped closer, her thighs flush with his stomach.
"Well then I guess we'll never know." She mumbled. Her eyelids began to fllutter shut as she leaned her lips towards Aaron's.
He welcomed the affection enthusiastically, returning her kiss with his hands knotted into her hair. It was sweet and sensual, nothing like those so called firework kisses in the movies and stories.
"Come on! I'm gone for two minutes and you two start macking on each other like there's no tomorrow." Vic cried. Piper and Aaron seperated, Aaron giving Vic an angry glare and Piper blushing.
They had been together so long, yet neither one of them had said they loved the other. Old couples would stop them on the street and compliment them, saying it was a match made in heaven.
Piper disagreed. It wasn't a perfect relationship. Often their affection towards each other got in the way of a mission and distracted them from running from the Feds or stealing an appropriate amount of money.
"Oh, shut up will you? We need to talk about the detective!" Piper said. Vic smirked, knowing she was uncomfortable with his teasing. Aaron gave him a warning glance.
"What about him? He's a cheat and a snitch. If we tell him anything or try to make a deal, it most likely won't work. I mean, he doesn't exactly strike me as willing when it comes to releasing three wanted fugitives without minimal or no punishment. He'd tattle like a little bitch." Vic said with a shrug. Piper walked over and smacked him on the arm.
"Victor! You will not use that language in my hotel!" She scolded. Vic smirked.
"Sure thing, sweet cakes." He said sarcastically, a smirk coloring his lips.
" So what do we do about him, then?" Aaron asked, obviously trying to ease the tension and keep Piper and Vic on track with the conversation.
"Nothing. We just act like three normal soon-to-be college kids and pretend everything is all right." Vic acted like he had the answer to everything, which just angered Piper.
"I don't think that will work. He already knows something's up. You can tell by the way he looks at us. He won't and doesn't trust us." Piper crossed her arms over her chest and tried to think through the mess of things.
"Not to mention three new passer-bys enter his beloved town unnanounced and unaquainted while resembling the three run away kids." Aaron added.
"Plus, I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm a boy. The bank robber me; not me, me." Piper clarrified. Vic gave her a confused but amused look. She rolled her eyes.
"Well then what's the game plan? We've already discussed the cons to this subject so let's consider the pros, shall we?" He held up his hand in a fist and ticked off the pros on his fingers.
"As far as he knows, we're just passing through. There are two boys and only one girl when the description of the robbers are assumed to be three teenage boys. We still have our descretion, and the Feds don't even know we exist entirely. Plus, we're flithy fucking rich." Vic said, tapping each finger as he raised them. "Yeah, hm...seems good to me! Ow!" Vic rubbed the back of his head where Piper had popped him.
"Language." She scorned. Vic glared at her but cut it out when Aaron began talking again.
"So how do we throw him off our trail? We can't exactly run again because then that would alert them that their robbers got away. Especially the day after he talked with us in the diner. So what do we do?" He asked.
Piper tapped her chin thoughtfully.
"I think I have an idea.." She trailed off.

"Well?" Angelo asked the dark figure.
"Well what, I took care of it."
"Did you kill them?" Angelo asked, pacing the wooden floors back and forth as he thought over the situation.
"No, there were too many around. I can't exactly make a public shot." The man responded.
"I asked for answers, and you have yet to share them!" Angelo shouted.
"I did what I had to do! I can't kill them, if I do someone will know something's up." He said.
"Well then do something! Anything! I just want them gone!" Angelo shoved the man up against the wall, unsatisfied when he didn't cry out.
"Yes, sir." Angelo released his tight hold on his collar.
"Good, now go do what I'm paying you for." Angelo sneered.
The man stalked off, burning with rage under the surface.
Angelo calmly walked back over to his oak desk, stroking the beautiful wood gently. A soft sigh of a door opening caught his attention, and he smiled evilly.
"I'm glad you could make it." Angelo said with an amused tone.
"I'm glad to have made it. Now will you answer my questions?" The other man asked.
Angelo smirked.
"Of course, Detective Andrews." He replied mockingly.
Detective Andrews came further into the room, sitting in the seat across from Angelo's.
"Now, let's get down to business, shall we?" He asked. Angelo smiled and shut the office door.
"Yes, let's."
