"So I decided, since Aaron's gone AWOL, that we throw a house party." Vic said excitedly as he sat beside Piper in art. Piper eyed the teething baby sitting beside her teacher's desk, wondering why it was staring at her like she was a piece of art.
"I like the enthusiasm Vic, but how can you throw a house party, when you don't have a house?" She asked, turning to face him. Vic chuckled and shook his head.
"Piper, Piper, Piper...Ye have little faith." He said with a grin. Piper rolled her eyes.
"Ye? Nobody says that anymore. I sure hope you are aware of that." Piper said with a light chuckle. Vic shrugged.
"Well, you know, I'm trying this new thing...retro. What do you think of it? Does it make me more mysterious?" Vic asked, giving Piper a little pose with his paintbrush in hand. Piper laughed.
"You're so mysterious, you're like the eighth wonder of the world." Piper said sarcastically. Vic huffed and continued to paint pictures on the canvas before him. Piper thought it looked more like a three year old using finger paints than an eighteen year old's interpretation of a bowl of fruit.
It was that messy.
"Emma thinks I'm mysterious." Vic mumbled. Piper glanced over at him.
"Emma's nice. Too nice. I don't trust her very much, but go ahead and do your thing, Captain Underpants." Piper recalled last year when Vic got really sick and delirious off of cough medicine and a missing state of mind. He had run around the hotel they were staying at in Atlanta yelling 'Captain Underpants, to the rescue!'.
To say the least, Piper and Aaron had to do the robbery on their own.
"We promised to never speak of that!" Vic shouted, covering Piper's mouth with his hand. Piper laughed while prying his hand off of her face.
"Aaron promised, I however, did no such thing." Piper stated. Vic scowled and turned back to his messy artwork.
"Anyway, you, me, party?" Vic asked. Piper sighed.
"Why the festive mood all of a sudden?" Piper asked. Vic sighed.
"You caught me. I wanted to get you out of your little rut and broken heart." Vic stated. Piper rolled her eyes.
"I'm not broken hearted. So we fought. Doesn't everyone? And besides, I understand why he was upset. It was my fault after all." Piper replied.
"Piper, don't blame yourself for everything. We're having a party, you're going to get drunk off your ass," Piper popped him in the back of the head but it didn't phase him. "and forget all about, Mr. Moody Pants. 'Kay?" Vic asked. Piper chuckled.
"Mr. Moody Pants?" She asked. Vic rolled his eyes.
"God, you're such a child. Yes, Mr. Moody Pants." Vic clarified. Piper's eyes widened. Her childish? Just yesterday Vic was making mashed potato towers and had noodles shooting from his nose. Half the time, she had to carry a bib for him.
"Right. I don't think having a party would be such a good idea, I mean, we are in a hotel and will probably be evicted if we do." Piper said. Vic rolled his eyes.
"Relax, will you? I've got another place..." He trailed off. Piper leaned forward, trying to meet Vic's eyes but he kept turning away.
"What do you mean?" She asked. Vic sighed.
"I got another place we can use. It's cool. I've got it all under control." Vic waved her off which just made her angry.
"No it's not cool, where is this place, Vic?" Piper demanded. Vic sighed and mumbled something under his breathe along the lines of 'No wonder Aaron bailed.'. It stung for Piper but she quickly brushed it off. No way was she going to lose Vic over something so stupid.
