"Guys," Alex asked urgently, "does anyone remember the end of the year party?"

"I know I got very drunk," Blaine said.

"No, not- not you, Blaine, you're always drunk at parties," he said impatiently. "Apparently that's what happened between me and Wes, we fought, and- and when I tried to put a hand on his shoulder he jumped away, like, unconsciously. You guys know I'm a blackout drunk, I can't remember anything."

"There a folder, apparently it and all the contents got torn in half at the party, but nobody else was in the council room," Thad recalled. "Wes told me he didn't know what happened to it, but..."

Alex was visibly distressed. "Shit. I only break things when I'm really mad, so if that was me... But why would I be so worked up? What happened?"

"Why don't you ask Wes?" Nick asked.

He shook his head, sitting down. "I think it's pretty clear he doesn't want to talk about it. He was so unresponsive, I... I think he's scared of me."

"Are you sure you two only fought?" Hunter asked. "I mean, isn't flinching or jumping away a reaction to, like, physical violence? Like, at least in my experience. Sebastian's pretty jumpy after stuff like that."

"Well... I asked if we fought and I asked if I hurt him at once, he just nodded in response. So he could have been saying yes to both," Alex said.

"There you go, he probably was. It'll blow over, though, once he gets used to seeing you for a while. Give it a week and he won't even remember." Hunter shrugged.
