"You wanted to see me?" Kurt asked as he sat in the Dean's office, Blaine there as well, having had to help him there.

Kurt was beginning to realize bitterly how many times 'see' was in common phrases.

"Yes. The matter remains of what to do about the boy who blinded you."

"I never want to hear about canceling Prank Day," Kurt said bluntly. "It's one of my favorite days. Those pranks are harmless. Switching the salt and sugar? Priceless. Putting all Mr. Daniels's things in jello? Hilarious. Filling Hunter's locker with bouncy balls? Impressive. Most importantly, they're all harmless. Everyone else knows the rules, the only person who should be affected by this is the idiot who blinded me."

The Dean nodded. "Alright. And you know who it is?"

"Everyone does. And he didn't mean to hurt me, he thought it was a hair product and didn't know the difference between hair bleach and bleach. He didn't have malicious intent but that doesn't make what he did less harmful or dangerous. People learn by making mistakes, but I have to suffer because of his mistakes and lack of common sense and I don't want anyone else to. He needs to know his actions have consequences and just feeling guilty isn't enough to do that."

"Kurt, what do you mean?" Blaine asked. He'd never heard Kurt talk so harshly before. Kurt turned to him.

"Well, it's obvious I don't want him to participate in Prank Day again because he could hurt someone else." He turned back to the Dean. "Beyond that, it's your call. I don't think a suspension would be too much... or expulsion, for that matter."

"Kurt- Kurt, he made a mistake!" Blaine objected, shocked.

Kurt held his hand up. "Blaine, don't start with me right now, because I can't get back to my dorm without you and I really don't want to fight."

He fell quiet at that, finally realizing the gravity of the situation.

Kurt, his boyfriend who valued his independence more than anything else, was entirely dependent on others. Even if he gets the hang of navigating without anyone's help, if someone gives him the wrong directions, he'd be lost just like that.

If someone decided to trip him, to attack him... what was he supposed to do?
