Comfort - Katsuki x Reader [Sequel to Barrier]

Ch. 51 - Attacks

The gravel crunched under the two heroes boots as they stopped outside of a large abandoned building.

Kirishima let out a small chuckle, "Good thing Midoriya put a tracker on that one girl."

Katsuki tutted, "Bastard probably knew she was involved."

"Either way, we should probably thank him later, we would've never come here otherwise." He replied, staring up at the dingy building.

The blonde merely scoffed and began to walk forward. Kirishima followed shortly.

Katsuki stopped abruptly and started looking around. Kirishima watched.

"What is it?" He asked quietly.

"We're being watched."

At his words, something shot down from the building at them. They jumped out of the way in time, leaving the ground they had been standing on to smoke from the heat of the attack.

"What was that?" Kirishima spoke as similar attacks followed.

Katsuki grit his teeth as he dodged another beam and hid behind a wall, Kirishima joining him quickly.

He narrowed his eyes, "I'm no idiot. I know exactly what these are." He growled.

"What?"

"Light."

"But that means-" Kirishima was cut off as Katsuki ran out into the open.

"Get your ass down here and stop hiding!" He yelled as another beam if light shot at him.

He blocked the beam with his gauntlets, then taking a bit of heat damage and blackening.

It went silent as the attacks stopped before a figure emerged from a ledge and leapt down, crouching as they hit the ground before standing up straight.

H/c locks ruffled slightly in the slight breeze and e/c irises stared blankly at the blonde as his friend joined him.

"Woah, that's not good." Kirishima spoke lightly before looking up at the sky.

"We should try to fight her inside, she'll be weaker in the dark." Kirishima spoke, "No clouds either, so fighting here would be asking to get our asses beat."

"Yea no shit." Katsuki muttered.

Both of them got in their stances before rushing forward. You stood still as they approached, them at the last second, raised your hands to the sky.

Red eyes widened, "Shit!"

The ground shattered as light seeped out from it, shooting in wild directions and forcing the two to back off.

It that moment you ran towards Kirishima and reached a hand to his exposed chest, light gathering in your hand.

Luckily, he hardened just in time, effectively not receiving a burn and only flying back at the force of the hit.

You switched your attack and shot the the building, making chunks fall off and onto the redhead.

"Ah man! No fair!" He yelled as the chunks fell on him.

There was a popping noise and you didn't have time to turn around as an explosion sent you flying away.

Your feet slid across the broken concrete and gravel as you fought for balance. Barely just having stopped sliding, there was a hard punch delivered to your gut.

Reeling back, you grabbed the assaulted area and coughed, trying not to puke. Hearing him approach, you bounced backward onto your hands and whirled your body around to fling yourself further away.

A moment later you held your fingers up and sliced them through the air.

"Boarder light!"

Whoops whoops my bad, I took a bit of a break which is why I didnt post for the two update days, I was having a bit of writers block but as you can now see I'm over it!
I probably should've mentioned this earlier- yikes.
